  1. No sir, I haven't... And I did grind a bit so that my characters can learn the more advanced jobs, as per your advice from so long ago . I think my Luneth is a Dark Knight, my Refia is a Devout, Arc a Magus...and I forget what Ingus is... He might be the Dark Knight now that I think about it.

Oh, I remember reading up on that game. The hats are what intrigue me most. :3 I need some money... All this influx of new games I want is going to break me.

And I've been okay. Feeling kind of ill these past two days, so I've been sleeping a lot more than usual. How about you? Everything cool in your corner of the world?
  2. You still haven't beaten FFIII? Have you grinded any? Also, what classes were you attempting to beat the game with?

That new FF game, FF: the 4 Heroes of Light will be fun with all the different hats that change the job of the character. That is coming out in about a month's time.

    Anyhuma, how have you been?
  3. Aww... Sucks to have such an early morning shift...but at least you'll be out of there sooner, and you can enjoy the rest of your day!
  4. It is not really my thing but even if I did want to try to view it: A) I have work tomorrow morning at 5 a.m. & B) too much light.
  5. *pokes*

Are you going to do a little star-gazing tonight to see the Perseids? I'm planning on it, but I live in the city....so I don't think the sky would be as clear as if I was still out in the country.

I don't know if this is your type of thing or not, but I thought I would give you a heads up just in case you were interested in seeing "the greatest celestial show this side of an aurora borealis".
  6. Congrats man! And I still gotta play some more DQ IX myself. I feel bad for letting so many other things get in the way of playing it, but I suppose I'm easily distracted...
  7. Well I beat Xenogears earlier today and I played a little of Dragon Quest IX; I'm going to give more attention to the game. I should as well pick up where I left off in Zeta Gundam, though I'll not watch as much so I'll have more time to play Dragon Quest IX - for example.
  8. Awww... That bites that the Black Mages disbanded, but if it was for the best, then good for them. Now that you mentioned that to me, I went ahead and took a gander as to why they did... Copyright issues and scheduling conflicts, eh? The second is understandable, but I think the first issue is lame... I mean, if they created the music, then they should be able to do whatever they please with it, I think.

And hooray! Maybe we'll see the games sooner rather than later! I'm ready for some game footage~!
  9. I just read that SE has started the voice recording for Agito and VersusXIII as well as The Black Mages disbanding.
  10. I've stopped Gundam momentarily and am focusing on Xenogears.
  11. I'm still not that far into the game, but I'm going to plug in some more gametime in a bit. I just got into Stornway and I have been talking to the folks around town. I supposedly learned how to "pirouette" from this lady in the church, but I haven't been able to actually do it yet... I'll have to check out the instruction manual to figure out how to set those little action commands.

How about you? You still getting your Gundam on, or have you played some more DQ IX?
  12. How's DQ IX coming along?
  13. On amazon I see how long the person has been selling, how many reviews they have, and their rating; if they have been selling for some time with a lot of reviews which equal out to be 95% approval I trust the source. I have bought some Dragonlance books, Shadow Hearts, & Xenogears through amazon.

I got Shadow Hearts at a really great deal; the game was selling for a pretty high cost, around $80 used, and I saw it for around $32 so I had to grab it while it was cheap. However, they sent me an email saying that they mislabeled the game, that it was Shadow Hearts: Covenant. I already had SH:C. So they offered that game, the new Shadow Hearts coming out in few weeks - Shadow Hearts: From the New World - (at the time), or to stay with Shadow Hearts. I stuck with getting Shadow Hearts because I had the SH:C and already pre-ordered SH:FTNW - meaning they just got suckered.

As for my Xenogears copy, I can't remember if I bought it new or used. If it was new than the price wasn't as steep, but I think it was used.

Now that I have been able to think about game purchases online, I bought Final Fantasy IX through amazon as well. One day While I was bringing my PS2 downstairs, along with FF IX to play it, the case slipped off the PS2, fell down the stairs and my Disc 4 was scratched into ruin. So I had to get a new copy of the game to keep my collection nice.
  14. I've never bought anything online before, and I'm a little apprehensive about buying a used game if I can't check the condition of the disk, the case, and whether or not the game booklet is included. But yeah, $40 ain't so bad...especially compared to those Suikoden II prices!

Haha... It's stuff like this that makes me want to horde up some of these games that are being released today, hold onto them 10+ years, and then sell them off at a high price. I don't have the patience for something like that though.
  15. Well that's if it is new >.>

Used the cheapest is going for $40, from amazon. I need to get Vagrant Story as well. But Xenogears isn't that bad, Suikoden II - on amazon - is going for $90 and up for used. The only "new" copy is at $600 . I wish Konami had released the Suikoden & Suikoden II bundle for the PSP in the states or add Suikoden II to the U.S. PSN to go along with Suikoden.
