We where pretty sure (89%) with the first one it was a boy, now we are about 99% sure this one is a girl so hopefully we are not wrong. Normally I can tell what a female is having after 2 minutes of talking to her. Hopefully we are not wrong, seeing we do not want another one. Both the wife and I are preying it is a girl seeing we both want one realy badly.

Yeah we are all about unique, hence why our sons name is Breyen (pronounced Brey-in) we searched for ever for a name and came across that one in a baby book, it means strong willed and agressive. That matched my persona and my wifes and it has held true to him too so the name fits him very well.
So, the name helps her when she's an adult? That's actually pretty interesting! I think a baby named Iris really stands out from all the other, like say, Sarahs, Jessicas, you know, those really common names!
My ex-wifes name was Sarah hahaah. Iris is a cute name but more affective when adulthood hits, not sure how that would sound with a baby.
I like the name Alexis! Or the name Sarah, but my favorite name for a girl has got to be Iris!^^
Alexsis (SP) she talks about how she wants to call her lexie as a nickname. I find it really cute and I could go either way. If we decide that is the first name then I get to pick the middle name. At that point I am at a loss and will have to find something that fits with the first name and my last name.

Not yet seeing we don't know the gender. My wife has a first name picked out if it is a girl. But I am waiting to throw that one out there until we find something out deffinantly. Personally I like Adrienne if it is a girl but I am willing to comprimise.

Heh heh! I'm really slow on forum news, aren't I? If one of my family members died, I'd probably cry a month later when I finally realize it and ask when the funeral is.
Yeah, I posted a whole thread about it a month ago. Haha. It is still to early to tell the gender as of yet, we are only 8.5 weeks along. but we did get to hear the heart beat for the first time the other day, it was amazing. Plus they did an ultra sound and we got to see the baby for the first time, measures in at about 7.5 CM right now. Right now we are looking at the first of December. Thanks!
