So, the Super Ribbon can be created by trading these 99 Trans-whatevers? Why not just go through the first colosseum course, you can get plenty very easily that way. Wait, what's Time Attack like, anyway? Uh... ??? - Falcon - Invincible - Lunar Whale - Blackjack (Yep, but III had it first, it's the design taken straight from the NES game. Did you know we never officially got II, III, or V? II and III were on the NES, but by the time we would've gotten them, it would've been in a long-forgotten era of gaming. V is another mystery, but FF III is on the DS right now, you should play it, it's fun! Make a challenge of it next time, just before the final battle(the second-last fight), make it so the opponent, can knock your HP down to 1, but not 0(easy to do with a Wall-Rush.) That way, you'll really have to stay focused, being at 1 HP. But, he IS pretty hard to dodge...
You're lucky with just twenty. Kefka wouldn't drop me the Super Ribbon, so I have to get 99 Transmogridusts! That's ten times I have to beat that dreadful Time Attack Mode! Yep. I think you need to have a Bahamut's Wing, and then it should appear. That must be it. I can't remember the names. (Really? I thought it was the one in IX?) Oh, and guess what? I beat Chaos without losing so much as a single HP. I did get hit one or two times, though, but his attacks are far too hard to dodge.
Megalixirs... those will be tough, even taking the normal route will take YEARS! Red Mage is the only trick, but it never comes with Treasure Cards in the next hand! The Megalixir seems pretty common, so that shouldn't be too bad... IF I didn't need 20... The Super Ribbon reduces breakability by 30%, right? Didn't you say Kefka dropped it? Ghost or Level 100? When does it show up in the shop? Hi-Elixirs... you mean the Invincible course? (BTW, the Invincible is from FF III! )
Megalixirs are in the Lunar Whale course. Beastlord Fangs are made from Hi-Elixirs in the course before Lunar Whale. I bought and beat the last Arcade Mode stage. I got 10 Transmogridusts - for my Super Ribbon - and 500 PP.
Whatever. I finally got the Ultima Weapon, that should hold me over until World Champion. Now, where can I get Megalixirs and Beastlord Fangs again?

I find all other characters to be too slow, because I started with the fastest one. =P Still, Golbez moves like a tortoise! I have gotten multiple items of the same name several times, but those were unlisted items only. I don't know if you can keep getting those Orbs over and over again per battle. I think it's just once a battle. As fort he Super Ribbon, I have a plan. I bought the increase for Item Drop, cheated the clock for a Bonus Day with a higher Item Drop rate, have the Thief's Hat and Thief' loves equipped, have the Dangerously Lucky and Mog's Amulet equipped, so I just fight Kefka, see if I get the Super Ribbon, and if i don't and the Mog's Amulet break, I exit out of the game into the home menu before it can save, and then load, so I don't lose it. That's strange. have you beaten all four chapters of Shad Impulse? That should open up the Colosseum as well as the Lunar Whale for sale. At least, I got it that way, and the FAQs say it, too. You can get Shinryu? He's not that useful, really. But I don't think you can; maybe it's exclusive to Chaos only. Anyway, you gain the Blackjack Course in the PP Catalog, bragging rights, as well as Ultima Weapon (summon) and Omega (summon), arguably two of the best summons.
He's pretty easy to use, but his combos are hard to pull off sometimes... -_- For the most part, fighting him with Tidus isn't too bad. I'm doing that now, haven't seen one yet... I already have one(obviously), but you can get more than one Battlegen? (I mean you can break him and get more of his stuff, even if the Guts Crystal also has the same thing?) Two Sunrise + 1 Moonrise? I'll look at the shop later. How goes the Super Ribbon? Oh, I read it, it's Fayth - something.... I need... FIVE. You're right, I wish my ghost Tidus would hurry up... But, I figured, I needed to do it now... Then I gotta buy that course... But... they're not in the shop right now, what should I do? What's the big reward anyway? New summons? Equipment? Or is it just for bragging rights? (I think I read something about being able to get Shinryu somewhere, but I'm not sure...)
I don't like using Jecht; he's rather plain. Fighting him is really annoying at first, though, because he charges his HP attacks, so it takes time to initiate. I just dodge whenever the name pops up, so when he attacks, I'm already falling down half a centimeter, and he hits me. Well, let's see. You can easily get the Orbs by just fighting Tidus at Minimal difficulty and keep Breaking him over and over again until you see a rank S accessory appear. Oh, equip two Sunrises and a Moonrise with some boosting accessories, too. There's a Fayth's Soul? Oh, Fayth's Dream? That's with the Megalixir, right? How many do you need? I just go fight in the Lunar Whale course: enter and exit until the Red Mage card appears. Then, look for treasure that's up next draw. Or fight once or twice for upcoming treasure. It'll take a while, but at least it' worth it. And then... The exact same thing for Beastlord Fangs, only with the course before Lunar Whale. Damn, your weapon takes a lot of Elixirs! I completely beat Inward Chaos. You can always just equip an accessory with last Chance and when you have one HP left, retry. It'll cost DP, but who cares about DP at that point? And save the Ray Gun for Chaos. Or any other HP reducing skills. I don't use Tidus, though. Do his Bravery attacks connect well?
Hmm... I noticed something with the Cloud of Darkness and Jecht's Bravery attacks. They never learn any more than the initial two attacks. Jecht learns some guard moves, but that's it. The gimmick here is depending on how long you pause pressing the button once, and then a second time determines the attack. CoD can shoot aura spheres, make her tentacles whip around her fast, and ignite homing lasers. Jecht can alter from a simple 7-kick combo, to slashing with the sword, punching, and sending the opponent flying. It's unusual, but innovative. Woot, the World Champion is now in the Shop, but I gotta get the Grand Slam (Breakfast ) first. I got the Striker, which is necessary for the Grand Slam, but I need five Beastlord Fangs. I also need five Fayth's Soul, and through chance, I can get four more Guts Orbs from a Level 100 Tidus by Breaking him... any suggestions? So, I went through some of Inward Chaos last night, I didn't get far, I made it as far as Cloud before getting off'd. Bartz gave me the most problems, and you wanna know why? You know how Spiral Cut can keep an opponent from falling off the edge during a combo? Well, for no reason, it kept happening, just as I was about to finish, he fell off the platform and got away! Terra really drained me, I has 1000 HP when I reached Cloud, but then I knew, I couldn't last... I'll equip Exp to HP next time, maybe that could help some... But really, I need World Champion, or else the going won't be easy. How far did you get?
*HUGGLES* I had to make myself a Ribbon. Now I'm think I should just farm the 99 Transmogridusts. I learn all I need to from the game itself. Sometimes, I refer to an Item FAQ for help, but I just play through the game to get the information that I need.
