Hello to you too . concerning your last vm , I just wanted to hear your opinion about the video and I got it right ,no hard feelings no nothing . It's like letting the other to know who you are and why you are, what you believe in and why you do, nevertheless that doesn't change the fact that I'm glad to know you and eager to keep such friendship no matter how different we are. About the text , I will pm it to u thanks again .
Hello there Himi. You can send that piece of writing to me when you get the chance; a private message would probably be the best format to send your document. I did check out that video you sent to me in a link. It was interesting but nothing I had not heard before. The believer brought in, though did not say explicitly, 3 of Thomas Aquinas' "The Five Ways" which state that something must have been the start of everything, in varying ways, and that something is God. I would have to disagree with that because with Thomas Aquinas and "the Believer" their interjecting God at the point they want to prove their theory/belief, which is a no-no when trying to verify something. They wanted God to be the end result so they worked from God out however neither explains why God is immune to the process. I didn't like the analogy the Believer used with the ball. It was not an entirely accurate analogy. To begin with the ball has no senses - no consciousness - whatsoever therefore it could never comprehend the concepts that the human brain can which makes humans so different from anything else. So why yes the ball can never question who is its maker because it does not think to begin with, humans can think which makes that analogy fall apart. As for the part of the Big Bang Theory I would take issue with the Believer once more. Now a lot of people of faith have a hard time believing that the whole universe in all of its complexity was created from a "big bang" (by nothing sentient), that life was an accident. That something so complex as the universe and life must have been created by something - God. First I would say "accident" is the wrong terminology to use, I would replace "accident" with "chance"; the universe is very vast (which cannot be stressed enough) and it would not be hard to believe that the conditions for what has happened on this Earth were that miniscule as to never happen. "Accident" and "chance" aren't that different to make certain people feel any less insignificant but "chance" does sound better than "accident". Returning to the second part: something so complex as the universe, life, all of reality was created by God. As I said people of faith have a hard time with the universe just being made without intelligent design so they say that God was the architect. The problem with that is in order for something to architect the complexities of the universe, life, ect. that thing must be even more complex. Therein lies the crack in their theory; they take issue with the complex universe, with life, saying that they can't believe it was just there to begin with, but explain it off by saying that something more complex, something humans can't understand (to strengthen their "proof") was behind everything. By taking their disposition on the universe a person would think that believers would take issue with God since: God would be something more complex; that humans cannot understand unlike the universe which we do have a little knowledge about and are understanding more as time goes by; that human senses cannot perceive; and the question would arise how did God come about. Theologians and people of faith say God is just there, but "being just there" was what they took issue with the universe. And those are my thoughts. No hostility intended just typing my thoughts.
Hi zargabaath , how are you doing ? I'm up to give you a piece of writing I did and I wanna your opinion
Hey mate , I apologize for taking such a long time to send you back , I was busy with some school work , preparing programs of vocabulary for kids in my school and such things. I understand what you said and I really respect you're being open-minded because most people don't accept the other and they think what they believe in is completely right.Anyway I thought you might like to see this video and I wanna here your opinion. What work are you finishing?
Hey zargabaath , missed talking to you ^___________^ soon I will come to comment on your last vm just I got alot of work to finsh
Well I used to Roman Catholic but around the age of 16 I grew detached from the church and faith. Now I'm an atheist, however, I'm not an atheist that tries to shove atheism to those who are religious. I'm a believer in individual freedom and if a person chooses to believe in a religion or not is their choice; all I want is my right not to be infringed upon. I like sports and used to play a few when I was younger. That changed when I moved to Virginia; I was separated from my best friend whom I would play sports with and the baseball league I joined in Virginia was pretty horrible. I'm learning to cook different recipes - mostly Italian - because of my heritage. I enjoy cooking because I am in my own little world whilst cooking; I'm able to move at my own pace. I like dance-rhythm games like: Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove, Pump It Up, & my personal favorite - Para Para Paradise/ Para Para Dancing.
Ok why don't you talk about yourself , you seem to be someone important but doesn't like to admit he is , I have been talking and I don't even know what religion you are .....?ok talk about anything u like not necessarily religion but somehow curious
