Not the background, let me try to explain. I want to make a part of the image transparent so when I attach that image to another image, that part should basically disappear because it's transparent and for some reason it doesn't work even though I followed the instructions.
Right I think I can answer your first question: When you have opened the image, go to image at the top, click mode and go to greyscale, this discards all the colour information on your image. And for your second question I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you want the background to turn transparent or something else?
Excellent, remember that I'm beginner and I just started yesterday so my questions might sound stupid too you. Right now I'm interested in one thing, how do I clean my scanned picture, I want that it becomes just black and white with no other color mixtures, so I can color it with no problems. And yes I just remember something, I have problems making some part of logos to be transparent, I have read some instruction on that part but it's seems whatever I do it doesn't work.
I am in fact familiar with Photoshop, what would you like to know? I'll try my best to answer for you.
Well, that sounds really familiar and yes if lesson has covered it all than anything else is pretty much pointless but most homework's are like that. Anyway, are you familiar with photo shop, I mean did you ever used it because I'm starting to learn some basics so if you can give me any tips I would appreciate that.

You still have more than enough time for drawing. Homework, I'm glad that I don't have it anymore, you won't believe this but in high school I never had any homework, crazy and awesome. Anyway, what are you researching, I hope it's something interesting.

There are some great "how to draw in anime style" tutorials on the net and it's always good to see that you have interest in drawing and improving the same. Well, you must thank Adam for leading you in sig making because you're really good at it, you're a pro. I'm sure that I will enjoy in Dissidia but I have also read lots of negative comments and critics about it, but I love fighting games and a fighting game with FF characters is bound to be great. It could of been worse your right. I'm currently going on deviant art to go on How to draw Anime tutorials and practice doing them. Thanks for the complement, I bet you won't believe this but Adam was the one that got me into sig making, he told me to have a go at making one and I came out with his one. It is a good game, I bought a PSP 2 months in advance for that game and I promise you it's worth it, the hype won't let you down!
Sure, it's hard but I can't complain right now, it could have been worse. Good to hear that you're going to be more active and it's also great that you'll going to participate in drawing contest, I'm really curios what kind of drawing you're going to make. Also good to hear that Adam is OK, it's shame that he isn't online that often. I've have seen your sigs. and I must say that they're excellent, you're really talented. As for Dissidia, haven't played it yet but I'm getting PSP this month and Dissidia is one of the games that I'll receive with my PSP, heard many good things about it and I'm sure I'll enjoy playing it.

I know that you have joined the anime club but I must say that you're not quite active in some anime discussions, which is shame because it's always great to see your opinions. So you have noticed that I'm rather quiet lately, it's because I'm busy with exams, projects and soon the new semester is going to start and I need to find a part time job on top of that. Lately I just visit TFF to see what's new, post few opinions and back to study. I'm quite surprised to hear that Gilgameshed up is your neighbor, and I must also say that he's a great person, I really enjoy to chat with him but I haven't seen him for a while now. I hope everything is okay. The only new hing that I'm doing right now is drawing my own manga and to be honest it's really hard. How bout you, doing anything new, something interesting?
I've been ill to be honest so not so good. Sorry to here that we beat you but I'm not a soccer fan so either way is fine for me. I've joined the Anime fan club and I am starting my drawing pretty soon. I just need to buy in some pencils, markers and whatever else I need. I must say it's a wonder I don't speak to you more often but you seem to be very quiet lately. I've also noticed you've made friends with my best friend Gilgameshed up (Adam), he lives right next to me actually, around 20 houses down so it's a quick walk to his house. He stays at mine on Friday's and I stay at his on the Saturday's. It's good to hear from you anyway, are you doing anything new at the moment?
