UnitedStatsians (since it should be a crime to call citizens of the United States "americans") don't now the metric system even exists, since everything outside of US borders is "communist and terrorizers".
Is there some compelling historical argument why Americans have not adopted the metric system, or is it the case that they're just stupid?
