I'm doing ok. Have been dealing with sour news from my girlfriend. Have an interview for a job this Friday. I am waiting for another interview with a different job where my elder sister works; it is a restaurant. The manager really liked me but the general manager is on vacation till this Friday. They don't do interviews during the weekend because those are their prime days for business. So I expect a call from them Monday. The storm wasn't too bad. My area didn't get any tornadoes though areas close to mine did. The storm didn't last that long either. It started around 6pm, my time, and ended around 10pm. What would you like to know?
Hey Zagrsbaath how are you? l'm kinda worried after i heard that you have a spring storm and honestly i've never seen something like that before so take care. And if you'r still alive thank god coz i wanna know mor about it ;-)
Yes Muslims and Bahrain is an Islamic one .
Well we have like a 6 month period we can go back to for the "current event". It doesn't have to be ongoing necessarily just recently discussed or done. By being one nation, regardless of your differences, do you mean the Muslim nation? Cause I thought Bahrain was a separate country? But this is still some good stuff, I thank you because you got this to me in the nick of time. And in case you don't know what "in the nick of time" means: it is an idiom for just before it is too late.
Hey there , sorry for the very late replay , you asked me to help in your Current Events essey but I think it's becoming Past Events , well blame our bad Network lol I got a good one in my sister's house right now . The reforms have covered all facilities in the country or almost tried to .. Including education, health, economy, financial help for those who haven't found jobs till they do , widows and divorced women , also financial support for religious and charity establishments, international students...etc..that's what I know so far but still I'm greatfull ^^ Regarding the troops King Abdullah sent hmmmm all I have to say is that when sticks are bound together they get much stronger and can't be easily broken ,and no matter what our differences are we still are one nation whether in Bahrain or elsewhere . don't thank me by the way coz that is nothing .
What say you on my request for help on my project?
It is for my Public Speaking class. The topic is Current Events. And I thought if I could get information on the subject I choose from you it would offer an unique perspective.
Why your project has to be about something like that ? I'm curious
Could you help me with a project of mine for school. I would like if you could go into detail what your king has done, domestically, to satisfy his people? Thanks for any help you can offer. Also, what is your take on your king sending troops to Bahrain?
It took me forever to post this coz of our bad wirless >>>unfortunately that hasn't been included among the reforms XD
Hahahah my first time to see you that much excited ,I think you would make a good journalist ^^ well what happened in some Arabian countries was a consequence of the existence of some awfully unjust governments that used to neglect their people's needs,it's an Arabian revolution more likely, so some could get what they wanted by standing as one hand against their government , some are still fighting to take off the crazy president who killed his people like my beloved brothers in Libya may Allah help them .When ppl are glad having their own rights fulfilled I would be the same but I'm completely against the violent protests . concerning ME as a Saudi citizen I'm happy of the good changes our king took , he is trying to satisfy his people and so we are now, we spare ourselves the pain of protests and are rather celebrating the new reforms . Thank God ^^ All what I want is to see the people who used to suffer and been humiliated live a good life. Anaway I didn't know your interested in the middle east news Heh hope my answer was good . Ja
Hi there. I was meaning to message you. I was wanting to ask you, how do you viewed the recent protests that are happening in the Middle East? As well as your thoughts on how the Saudi Arabian government handled any potential protests?
Good evening Man how are you doing ?
You don't have to read him anything because you were 100% true about "nothing special " , I had just to read him for the exam I took and yeah for sorrow there was a heavy question about him . The day before the exam my head was full of names like Chaucer , Marlow Ben jonson bla bla bla till I reached W.B Yeats in the 20th century,I thought I'm gonna lose them all . Luckily I could remember Samuel Richardson who was the first novelist in English literature but guess what his novel's name was pamela and I mistakenly wrote pambela hahahaha actually the exam was easy but I don't think I will get a seat there , still I'm somehow glad I knew more about novel's and poetry's history so till next year's exam I can intensify my studyings , who knows I might be accepted !^^
I do like to read, but I don't think I have a favorite period of Literature. I'm not that into older books though there are a few I would like to read such as the 4 Classical Chinese Novels. As for Shakespeare and plays. I'm also not a big play person, however, I feel that Shakespeare may be a bit over-rated. I have read a few of his plays and I don't see anything special, wondrous, amazing, etc. about his work. Not to say it isn't bad but nothing special. I can't say for sure until, and that is an "if", I read more plays.
