  1. I'll make sure to save you with my floaties, should that ever happen to ya'.
Okay okay, here's the next one! Its a bit trickier, but in a different way.

A boy and his big sister are sitting around the kitchen table chatting.

"You know, sis, if I took away two years from my age and gave them to you, you'd be twice my age, huh!"

"Well, why don't you just give me one more on top of that? Then I'll be three times your age."

So just how old is each sibling?

I'm actually not a huge fan of juice. My favorite drink ever is chocolate milk. How about yours?
Phantasia didn't? My bad then. And no, I haven't played Dawn of a New World (Symphonia sequel) yet, but my brother recently beat the original Symphonia and wants the second one, so he may buy it eventually so I'll let you know if that happens.
Argh! I still can't think of who it is! We're stumped, Fate!

Indeed! I don't disagree with you there. Fantasy-themed art is so much fun to do. <3
I like that second option, it sounds fun! And it would probably be a lot easier to spot you that way!

Aww, what is it that happened?
Dive Into The Heart was the very beginning sequence of the game, where you choose your "weapon", first encounter Heartless, and first fight the DarkSide. It takes place on the stained glass platforms that depict the Disney princesses. Remember that place?

    I'll take care of yoooouuuuu~!

Wow, you're much better at those types of games than me. I hate the enemies that steal multiple crystals... That's always the beginning of my downfall.

Nah, it wasn't that one, but the name escapes me right now. Oh applesauce. xP One of the ones for PS2.
  2. I call the ducky one! =D I can't stand the water, though. =' I have a paranoid fear of drowning in saltwater. Oo
I had to have a guide for it, though. Apparently, each floor has one of eight different layouts. Not using that guide would have me searching eternity for the next teleporter.
Haha! Ooh, I can't wait. <333 I've always been a sucker for those riddles. xD

And oh, God, some of the things that they use to make energy drinks... v__v It makes me lose my appetite. I usually don't like fizzy juices, though. The taste doesn't seem right, mainly because juices are natural.
Tales of Phantasia didn't have them, you know. =P (Or did they? Oo) I haven't played the newest one yet, the one with Ratatosk. I think it was the second Symphonia? Did that one have Skits and voiced ones, do you know?
Nuuu, unfortunately. =' Who was it? I don't know if it's Luke or not, though, but he's the only one who's coming to mind. But I don't recall him ever acting royally or formally.

But everyone loves fantasy. To be honest, I think more people would applaud the fantasy-themed over the realistic-themed, since you can just use a model to draw the realistic theme, but you have to be creative with the fantasy-themed one.
But that means we'll easily be able to get around, just sneaking past people or jumping on their backs and hopping over like they were stepping stones. =P

I had a bad experience happen when I first saw that place, though, so thinking about it brings back that memory. =' So sad. And it was my favourite dungeon, too. Dive Into the Heart? Either the name is unknown to me or... Yeah, that's probably it. Care to clarify?

Well, in case anything happens to my family, at least I know I have other family to take care of me until for a while. I don't know how I would fare going cross-country alone. =|

I beat all 30 waves on almost all maps. Yay! Except... the Advanced ones. @_@ I only have two perfect, though, and that was with a guide. Oh, and i think maybe one other non-perfect one was with a guide as well. >___< They were too hard, especially W3.

Which one? Was it Friends of Mineral Town? I think that's the one that I'm most used to.
  3. Wait, you can't swim either? xD Me thinks we should carry around floaties for our own safety from now on.
Oh I never bothered fully completing Sphere 211 I think. I got through ALMOST all of it, but it was so tedious that I didn't want to start hating the game so I quit. xD
Very good Fate! I knew you'd be able to solve that one no problem. I'll give you another one next time, since I think my game is in my brother's DS somewhere right now and I don't have time to go search for it. xD

Yeah, I don't really see why energy drinks are as incredibly popular as they are, since they don't really taste that good. xD I mean, I like fizzy tastes as much as anybody else (I don't drink soda often but I like it), but the way it tastes in energy drinks is just... odd.
Oh haha, yeah they're in all the Tales games as far as I know. I used to hate the skits because I used to have a small TV, and whenever the skits would play I'd have to get up from my bed and walk over to the TV to be able to read what they said! I can't wait until someday the skits are voiced over.
Ooooooh so its been a while, did you remember who the guy was? The guy who acts all formal? Because I didn't!
...Wait, doesn't Tidus do it at some point? To Yuna? He says something along the lines of, "Such talk is unbecoming of a summoner" or something like that. Not exactly the same thing but I think he was who I was thinking of earlier.

"Realistic drawing fantasy" is a good way to put it I guess. xD I like entangling the two until the line between them is blurred. =P
Awww, I do see the connection~. <3 In that case it won't be so hard to find you, except for the fact that we're both so short!

That IS pretty! Though I think it would have been a bit nicer if there wasn't any background music already playing. =] You know what it reminded me of? Dive Into The Heart from Kingdom Hearts. I loved that whole segment of the game. The atmosphere, and the stained-glass art was really nice. <3

I agree! I kinda wish that some of my family weren't so far away though; I have some that live in other countries as well, like Italy and Japan. But I'm happy to know the family that lives close-by as well, even if we aren't on the best of terms in recent days.

Okay so my new record on the first stage of W1 is... a pathetic 26 waves. xD But I only tried once since we've spoken so its not like I've practiced. How about you?
I actually own one of the Harvest Moon games; or at least, used to own. I think we sold it (we used to sell games all the time in order to buy new ones). But yeah, they're really addicting!
  4. Really? Well, neither can I, to be honest. xD
I think maybe three or four times, but I only had the patience to fully complete Sphere 211 once, since those last 111 floors were so repetitive and annoying! =O Fighting Freya was fun, too, especially when she did 0 damage to me. ><
I know, I know! Since it's only one mouse, it can't give birth all by itself. So even after ten month, you'd still only have a mouse, right? =D I want another one. ^ ^

Oh? Unique names as well? No way! I absolutely love tea and coffee, too! =D There was a time when I liked energy drinks, but now that I taste them, they're disgusting. ><
They're in that game, too? xD I was talking about the Skits in Abyss. =P
I think my guy was pretending to be of royal descent, and that's why he had to speak formally. Or maybe it was that he was of royal descent? Who was it!? =O

Oh, that gets frustrating. I also like to use the main protagonist most of the time; thank God the ones in my games aren't hideous and have a good attitude. xD

So you're more of the realism person, right? Although... realistic drawing fantasy. =P
It's easy, really. You look for the cutest boy in his early teens and I look for the most gorgeous girl in her late teens. =D See the connection? xD

It's beautiful, isn't it? 8] I was seriously left with my mouth opened in awe the first time I saw that place, especially the musical stairs. <3

I have a bunch of my mom's side of the family in another state and my dad's in an other country. The nice thing about us is that we can celebrate any holidays that we want. xD We're living in the U.S., so why not celebrate Thanksgiving, and we're Asian, so why not celebrate the Asian New Year's? =P

Tower Defense games are so much fun. =D They're so hard, aren't they? Though, i can tell you something about the first stage in W1: near the last maybe fifteen waves, Time mages make it a lot easier. I just filled up the battlefield with those things, and they halted the enemies while I had the others pummel them. The Crystals in W2 and W3 are really fun. =D
You know, just the other day, I remembered about those Harvest Moon games and I thought, "Wouldn't it be fun if I had that on my PSP?" And yesterday, I saw one in the store! =D Something about "Fate and Destiny." *hint hint* Too bad "Fate" is the girl side. =| Have you played any of the Harvest Moons? They're surprisingly fun and addicting. xD
  5. Exactly! Plus, I can't swim.
Ohh, I do remember that. How many times have you played SO3 from the beginning?
I love The World Ends With You, and I have a feeling you're friend's right. You gotta play that game!
    Anyways, here's a brain-teaser that's easy.

Mice are famous for their ability to multiply at breakneck speeds. The type of mouse we have here gives birth once a month, birthing 12 babies each time. Baby mice mature and can give birth two months after they are born.

You picked up one of these darling baby mice at the pet shop and brought it home the day after it was born. In 10 months from now, how many mice will you have?

Not that particular Farmer's Market, but we have others. I also love tea! Its great to drink at any time of the day. I also really like coffee, and much prefer it to energy drinks (I've never actually had an energy drink before, just sips from friends' cans). Coffee and tea are so good~. <3
I thought you said you didn't play Symphonia...? xD I'm confused how you saw the skits then.
Aaarrgghhhh this is annoying, I totally thought of somebody who fit the criteria last night, but now I forgot! This is so irritating.

Its the same for me. What fun is it playing a game with a party you don't even like? The worst part is when you don't have enough room for all the party members you wanna use. Its so hard to choose!

Since chibis have much less "specific" features (there are so many different ways of drawing them), its harder for me to do, because they're a lot more comical, and I was never really good at comic-type drawings.
Haha yeah, I'm sure we'd spot each other no problem, because we'd somehow be drawn to each other. Brother and sister link, ya' know!

I opened the video and now I'm waiting for it to load so, I'll watch it after I send this, since it was delayed anyways. xD

My grandparents, aunt and uncle are the only family we have that aren't as far off as across the country at least. We ate pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, stuffing, bread rolls, stuff like that. =D

Ooooh, you got Crystal Defenders too? Such an addicting game! Its just too bad I suck at tower defense games, even though I like them. I can only just barely get past the 20th Wave so far, on W1. I think I have thought of a better strategy though since the last time I played, so I'm itching to try it out again.
That's funny, I also just recently got FFVII from the PSN store as well, since my original copy's first disc is a bit damaged.
  6. Neither do I. =P The waters below... God knows what will eat me if I fall down there? Oo
It happened when the party went to Styx. The Aquaelie couldn't go any further due to the number of Executioners there, so the Commodore told Fayt to take the Calnus down to Styx instead.
Wherez?! =D I heard a lot of great things about The World Ends With You. This one girl at school is always telling me, "You're going to love it!"

I've got a Sprout's Farmers Market. It has some of the freshest fruits and vegetables, at better prices than most stores, too. Do those exist where you are?
I like any sort of tea, actually. I don't care what it is, as long as it's tea, I'll love it. =D Though, it's strange that I do, because not very many kids my age tend to like tea. xD I hate those energy rinks that they like. Once again, unique from the rest. =P
Ah! I totally recall that name! You know what was funny about that game? Those random Skits that played time to time. They were hilarious. xD
Whoooo wasss ittt? God, this is frustrating like that puzzle.

You know what's funny? I almost never pick my characters according to their strength and abilities. I might at times, but usually, I'll go for looks and personality instead. =P I'd raise the weakest character if I like him and keep him in my party, totally ignoring the hideous and despising but ultimate character. xD How about you?

Hahaha, not big, buggy eyes and such? =P I don't think it's that far, really. You're in California, right? I live in Colorado. We're only a couple states away from each other. Or maybe if the states needed to unite sometime and among the millions and millions of people, I'll spot you. xD

Video game music is one of the best kinds. =D And if you like music, I'll show you quite possibly the most amazing dungeon ever in an RPG. He enters the place at 6:06, but watch it until like 8:30 for the amazing staircase! I present to you... the Xylophone Tower of the Shining Keys!

I don't even have my grandparents living here. Oo They're both in separate places, so my cousins are the only family that we have here besides each other. What else did you eat?

Also, I just bought Crystal Defenders today. 8] It's really fun, isn't it? I love the tower defense game with a Final Fantasy theme. =D Along with that, I bought Final Fantasy VII, since I never played the original for the PS. Though, I'm not too intrigued by it. =| I just bought it because when I tried buying a PS version online last year, it was like $200. =O The PSN Store only sold it for $10. =P But the download was huge; 1,300+ MB took at least four hours. >< Oh, and something else. In the PM, how I told you about Yggdra Union and Riviera, they're both available for download in the PSN Store for $14.99, I saw.
  7. Good plan, but can we invade by plane this time instead of ship? ...I don't like boats. xD
Well I learned something new today! When did Fate take the Calnus?
Oooh, sure! I'll grab the game in a minute, and find one for you to solve. And yes, they're excellent brain-teasers. You should totally get those games, they're my favorite for the DS, along with The World Ends With You.

Trader Joe's is like, an organic grocery store. Its surprisingly really good though, the food that is. Lipton's Iced Tea is so good! I love tea. What's your favorite kind, Chinese, Japanese, or English tea? Or any others?
Yup, same one! Its the song that I really liked, "Karma", the instrumental version.
    Remember, remember!

Yup, Colette Brunel! Though I never used her in my party, except for when you had to. There weren't many characters I liked in Symphonia that much; my favorites were Genis and Zelos, and the others were just kinda there.

Normal; I'm actually not all that good at drawing chibis. xD And I wonder how we would ever happen upon each other in any situation unless we planned it, given that we live pretty far away? xD Oh well, it could happen... Maybe if we both went on vacation to DisneyLand or something. I love DisneyLand.

I can play both of those songs on piano. =] My most favorite kind of music to play on piano is video game music, especially final fantasy.

Same with us! We don't get along too well with my aunt, so instead of going over to our grandparent's house (where my aunt inevitably would be), we stayed at home, just us five. I felt bad though because my mother prepared all this food for us, but she couldn't eat any of it because she can't have gluten.
  8. All I know is that where he lives, it's better than where we live. England > U.S. =P Let's invade England and settle there! xD You know, like the OPPOSITE of the first colonization? =P
Actually, the Calnus was in every title. =P In the first one, it was the ship that you get to be on for a short while; in the second, Claude's father is on it; the third, it's a small transport ship; and the fourth, it's the main spaceship. 8]
Nuh-uh? Are they good brain-teasers, because I love brain-teasers! Give me one. =D

Trader Joe's? I don't believe we have that over here, or I just haven't been to it. I usually go to Target, King Sooper's, Safeway, Wal-Mart, and I think that's it. =P I don't usually like the sparkling stuff in iced tea. Oo Though they're great in other things. Speaking of which, love Lipton iced/green tea. <3
I've forgotten what the opening sequence is like. xD Is that the one where there's the scene with Luke and Ashe fighting and the columns collapsing? Though I do vaguely remember the part where Sync come up. <3 There is one, right
T Here was one character who tried to be formal, though I can't remember who it was. it's on the tip of my tongue, too! Ugh, who was it? It was sooo funny.

Hope uses dual boomerangs. ;] Pretty amazing. =D Though I wished that he used rings instead. Like that one girl from Symphonia. Was it Colette Brunel? I haven't played it, but I know of her.

Are they chibi-sized or normal, by the way? =P You said it yourself! =D I'll instantly hug you once I find out it's you. =P It's like we randomly meet somewhere without knowing it, "...I'm also a fan of Final Fantasy." "Hey, so am I! Have you heard of The Final Fantasy Forums?" "Yeah, I'm registered on there under the name of 'Insufficient Mage.'" "*gasps* Shiny!?" "Fate!?" "Heeeeeyyyyy!" *hugs* xD

I've always liked how the piano sounds. It's more soothing than the drums or anything. Can you play Suteki da ne on the piano? Or Melodies of Life?

Our holiday celebrations are never that big, really. =P And since we don't get along that well with my cousins... Erm, small family of five~six. xD The meal was good, though. =D But the turkey that was leftover was plentiful. Oo
  9. Okay, now to choose the most ideal place to live! Ideas?
Sounds grand to me! Which game is the Calnus from? If its from SO3, I'm gonna feel really silly. But I haven't played it in years so you'll have to forgive my memory. xD
Now you're making me want to do a puzzle! Maybe I'll just settle for some brain-teasers on Professor Layton. Anything to get my brain in focus. Have you ever played any of the Professor Layton games?

We usually either go to Safeway, or Trader Joe's. The latter has such good dried mango! And sparkling pink lemonade, oh my God. How about you?
I remember when I first got Tales of the Abyss, I couldn't stop watching the opening sequence. I'd let it loops a couple times occasionally before I started playing!
Haha yup! I can't think of any other character at the moment who does the same thing though, but it is rather silly. =P

Whom might you be hinting at, Fatey Fate Fate? And I have no idea what Hope's weapon/s is/are. Tell me!

If it turns out alright then I'll share it with you. And I have no problem keeping up that promise. <3

I do! I've played the piano my entire life actually, since we've had one since I was young. It my favorite instrument. I also play a little bit of guitar and violin. I'd like to practice those two some more, I'm still pretty novice at them.

Our turkey sure was! How did your Thanksgiving go?
  10. same tribe: Fang and Vanille. They all have such awesome names. 8] Except for some. *cough cough* Do you know Hope's weapon? =D

I wanna see, I wanna see! Remember that if I ever see you in real life, you owe me a hug, all right? <3

I love the sound it makes! Sadly, no. But I really should. If I had to pick one, though, it'd have to be piano. Do you play any instruments?

Thanks! =D You have a Happy Thanksgiving, too! Is the turkey plump? xD
  11. a present for my twelve birthday. And God, I waited so long I thought time froze. Oo

Some of their grammar make me laugh so much. xD They alway ask me how to spell words at school. Oo I officially became the human dictionary. xD

I'm a fan of formalities, too, to be honest. Because, you know, when a formal character acts informal, it's quite kickass. 8] But when an informal character acts formal, it sounds forced and funny! xD Like when Vaan pretended to be Larsa near the end? =P

    I think they're from the
  12. I'm not messy. Heh-heh. =P Don't worry 'bout a thing. =D
We will travel onboard a ship that I'll call the Calnus, and we'll explore the great star ocean! xD
I think it was our fault that it was missing, though. =P Gluing the puzzle is also hard, especially when it suddenly breaks apart. ='[

My Target is like five seconds from my GameStop. =D It used to have good games, but now that Target just sucks. What stores do you go to for groceries?
Ha, I ordered that game, too. =P If I remember correctly, it was
  13. Haha, sounds good to me. As long as you guys aren't too messy! xD
We should wander the galaxy in search of worthy opponents!
Oh my God, that would frustrate me to no end! Just having an incomplete puzzle, especially after all that time spent putting it together...

Seriously? I've never heard of a GameStop that does that before. And I can't really say much about our Target, since the closest one to us is in the town about half an hour away, so I rarely go there.
Waiting for games to come in the mail is torture. I remember the first game I ever ordered with my own card was Tales of the Abyss, and luckily it shipped fast but it still wasn't fast enough, since I wanted to play it NOW!

I know, it always surprises me when I see the grammar kids use nowadays. xD Even when they aren't typing!

Well part of what I liked about Larsa was how he was so formal and proper, but I could see what you mean, it'd be pretty refreshing in that game. Though that seems like the type of thing Vaan would do, no? xD
Yeah, are they supposed to be related? I had been wondering that, but I'm purposefully not looking into the characters and plot too much, so I don't spoil anything for myself. As for parties, I don't know what "classes" everybody is yet so I can't in confidence make that decision. xD

    It totally would! *Starts sketching*
Oh, that instrument! Yeah, I know of it! Its so neat, and makes such a nice sound. Do you play any instruments, Fate?

    Also, Happy Thanksgiving! <3 *Hugs*
  14. Hmm... Why don't the two of us build another house that's half moon bounce, half ball pit, and live there--just the two of us? Oh, we can take Kyle with us, too. =D One happy family. xD
Not even those so-called "American Gladiators" will stand a chance. That's how great we are. 8]
Puzzles are generally pricey, though, the new ones. And you HAVE to buy a new one because an old one might be missing a piece. Just two or three months ago, my family finished a thousand-piece puzzle, but we had two missing pieces. =| It was soooo frustrating!

Mine doesn't even have the PSP games on display. They're stored away in a box, so you have to ask for a specific one, not browse through it. Are your Targets the same as mine, too, I wonder? xD
It's like video games hate us or something! =O I remember how five times, I've gone to the store to get a video game, only for it not to be there, delaying my wait for at least another month! And then we have the waiting for the mail to come... It seems like an eternity!

Hahaha, I'm surprised teachers even know text language. =P Though I do recall my English teacher once saying, "Some of you, in your writings, don't spell out the whole word. Instead of of spelling out "Y-O-U," you just put a "U." You can't do that!" xD

Actually, the first thought that crossed my mind when I heard the name was... Vermont! xD That part in the end where he saved Gabranth's life (who somehow ended up dying, anyway =|) was the best part with him. 8] You know what would've been a real turn of events, though? For him to not speak so formally. If he could say something like Yuna's famous "I don't like your plan. It sucks." line, it would have been so awesome! =D
Hahaha. There's Oerba Die Vanille and Oerba Yun Fang. =P You're going to love the trailer, if you haven't already seen it. I think the voices fit perfectly. ;] I'm thinking I might have a party of Hope, Vanille, and Fang, but I do want to include Lightning, since she's the protagonist.

Aww, that would look sweet~ =P
I like Beethoven's music and Wagner's. Ride of the Valkyrie is probably one of my favorites ever. have you ever seen the hydrocrystalophone before, though? =D
  15. But what if our families step on us? =O
I'm sure if we both attacked, nobody would stand a chance. =P I'll hold him and you punch!
Aww, now I wanna work on a puzzle... I saw this one cool Ben 10 puzzle at the store but it was only like, 20 pieces or something. xD Obviously made for kids...

Our GameStop mostly has old used games, but some old new ones too (that sounds weird... "old new", but you know what I mean right?). Our GameStop doesn't have used DVDs like it used to though. I used to get a lot of random anime DVDs that way. =P
That so happened to me! It was with Valkyria Chronicles. I would see it everywhere, but when I finally decided I wanted to buy it, it wasn't in any GameStops nearby. I finally found a used copy later on in a GameCrazy, and then after that I kept seeing new and used ones in GameStop. Its a conspiracy!

Haha, speaking of school, once my math teacher handed back our quarterly questionnaire thingy, and he wrote "LOL" to one of the things I wrote. ...Well, at least it wasn't an English teacher, but still. xD

Yeah, I always figured "Lamont" was the last name "she" went by. I wasn't fond of Larsa either, in the beginning, because he was obsessed with Manufacted Nethicite and I was just like, "Who are you?? Why are you here??" xD
Ohhhhh, her! I always referred to her as "Oerba" so I thought you were talking about somebody else completely when you said "Fang". I'm gonna have to watch that video once I get back probably, since I've gotta hurry and get ready to leave the house. >.<

I have sort of an idea in my head. I could always make us look like Nel and Fate, anyways. =P
    Aaaaahhh I love the Nutcracker! Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer. I'm gonna have to watch that video later too though, unfortunately! ;_;
