I think that it was there to make you think that your not taking damage of him, that's what I thought when I first fought him. I don't think the developers were lazy though. I know I have to change, but how do you change a character named Vivi? Holy crap, you got far. I've just got to the colosseum and started doing the second cup... Wow, it's harder than I thought. I died 3 times. The 1000 heartless battle is fun! I normally save the game there so I can go back to it. (Xaldin isn't so bad.) I get why you'd be weary about Xigbar, but all you have to do is Aerial Dodge the hell away from his shots. You're doing a Kingdom Key challenge too! I've got all my forms to their max level at the moment. I think it's 3. Level 35, that's pretty good, seems that we're both on a equal pace.
I loved the series, but I stopped paying attention after 8. I never did find out if that wierd guy with the hat was the real villain... (He looks too suspicious...) From what I've seen, you seem to get some abilities, too. For exampl, in one video, Terra D-Link'd Ventus, and became super-fast in his attacks. I might be wrong about the Limit Break thing, who knows... There seem to be more Keyblades in the game, such as this Agrabah-inspired one, and this train-track one. There's probably lots of customization here. I always wondered about the secret HP bar. I wonder if the developers were either too lazy to make like a dark red bar, or maybe they were trying to intimidate you? Just equip one combo plus, and your combo should work. Be prepared to dodge from the counter, though. xD (I still haven't even mentioned it, yet.) Right now, everyone's doing a character reboot, new characters, but originality. I'm sorry to say your character must drastically change, Vivi! xD Made plenty of progress in my KH2-Proud Mode run. I got through the EPIC 1000 Heartless battle, and its all the more satisfying in PM. (So far, I haven't died once. But I bet Xaldin will give me hell...) I'm also worried about Xigbar, he almost killed my on Standard. BTW, I'm doing a Kingdom Key challenge on top of them, and I only change my equipment to help with the Form and summon leveling. Got all my forms up to Level 5, and got my Master Form, and Aerial Dodge. But its only gonna get harder from here, so I'll stay vigilant. Currently, I'm Level 35, and all the worlds just got tougher. o_O (The Xaldin fight is totally all I'm thinking about now...)
I think that a nine was released but you'd have to Google it to find out. So it's more like a summon but not a summon, if you get what I mean. I'll have to look at a YouTube video to find out. If you do get a limit break then that's good. Is there any Keyblade customisation in the game or any? I found that attack to be so weak. It was just a way to get my MP up. If you start the match with Ars Arcanum then you can take his invisible health bar away and a little of his purple one. Yeah, but he also disappears for me with all my attacks... I can never get my Blitz to hit! I've tried a few times. Haha, I got the money! My persuasive techniques are the ultimate! Heh, I just went further in my save on Proud Mode. I've only now just finished the Proud Lands. I think that I'm level 32, what about you?
Mario Party is awesome. Was a nine ever released? As for D-Links, from what I've seen, they change your command menu, allowing you to use their abilities. I think there might be some kind of Limit Break-type attack with them as well, but I haven't looked into it too much. That inferno move is annoying, and he always does it right next to you... I just used Ars Arcanum at that point. Sephiroth disappeared during your normal comboes. After four hits, he disappears. The best way to counter this is to equip one one Combo Plus for both the ground and air, that way, you get Blitz and whatever the aerial finisher is more easily, and deal slightly more damage. I'll look around eBay for one. Not sure of how I'll convince them I'm acting for a game that doesn't exist yet! There's much fun to be had lurking around these forums.
Wow, I love Mario Party, and Sonic Shuffle! Do you remember that game? It must be some much fun! I wonder why there isn't any reviews for this game yet? And what do D-Links actually do? Is it just like having a party member on your team? Is it like using a party card in CoM or is it summon-like? I normally use Sonic Blade but by that time I have t get hit to restore my MP! I normally just Sonic Blade right into the Inferno move, knocking the crap out of Sephiroth and taking a full health bar. Ars Arcanum is a great move if you can keep the combo going. I hate when you go in for the final attack and Sephiroth disappears behind you... Cheap. Well, I got my mum in a unhappy mood, too much persuasion. I'll just save up my dinner money instead. I found a few gems of comments while randomly lurking. You won't believe how noobish Fate sounds. From Fate: "To me, FFIX was the best, but I knew FFVII would get the highest vote. I also hear there's some Mario Party-like board game in the game as a mini-game. I hear comments on how its so much fun, it could be a game in its own right. I'm looking forward to that! Did you know Donald and Goofy become D-Links, too? Well, don't lose sleep over it. That's a hard attack to dodge... I think Sonic Blade will help you, moreso than Ars Arcanum. The part I hate the most is the final phase, where everything he does summons these orbs and they're like, impossible to dodge... >_> I still need that microphone. Time for some parental persuasion... Well, I figur it would work, he's got to look up to someone! xD
What's wrong with card games?! xD Anyway, I didn't know what D-Links were, I didn't even think that they were summons! 50 hours, peshaw, I'll beat it in 20 hours! And I'll skip school too! (Man I have problems -_-') I was pretty young when I took him on the first time! I don't even need Elixers to heal me anymore! I just roll to him as soon as I hear him say the words, and he stops. The other part I hate is the part were the screen darkens and he uses a Omni-slash kind of move. I'll try to voice act as best as I can! And nice replacement, eh?
They removed the MP system, it seems. Finally, something new that isn't a card game! xD Also, the D-Links aren't actual summons, they just grant your characters their powers. And apparently, the whole game can take almost 50 hours to beat! You know... back when it was just KH1, I was going insane on Sephiroth. I just couldn't beat him. His DHA was SO annoying... A while back, I didn't even know what to do, and I died so much... (I hear if you didn't have Second Chance, you die if it works. o_O) When I got past the annoying DHA, the fight got like 20x worse. Oo But, I DID finally beat him... and I was so relieved... Years later, I can't seem to lose to him. (Even though, no one on YouTube has ever gotten a No Damage on him, yet...) Alex is searching for his brother, right? I bet he's a bit inexperienced, even for his position. He'll come to depend on others, especially Shin, who he views as a "nice replacement."
It is? Well I can't wait either way! I've been watching battles and so far, everything looks A-Okay! Let's hope it lives up to the hype, unlike FFXIII! Do you know any interesting facts about the new game? I beat him on KH1 and I felt on top of the world, I was really happy! But then I thought: "You know what, I'm taking on Sephiroth on KH2!" and I beat him first time! Really happy, though Sephi sucks! Yeah, and I'll make Alex... the nice type!
I hear BBS is going to be especially difficult. o_O Easy Mode for me! As for KHs in general, I always do easy mode to check out the game and see how tough it could get. BBS might be a tough game even on easy... about time! xD Its just that I haven't faced Sephiroth in SO long... I was overwhelmed. >.< I know how to dodge his combo and attack him, but I forgot and had to act fast... Well... yeah. I beat him on my second try, though... with like 3 HP! Elyon's character. Did you read the Shadow Productions CoC thing? I'm going to make him a Sora type.
I never play a game on the hardest difficulty first. I think I do what you do, just start on easy and work my way up. You died trying to beat Sephiroth? Well, of course you did! I did too, it's nothing to pout over. (I'm not very good at that part but I can do the rest of the fight without losing health!) Shin?
I always play KH games on Beginner Mode first, then Standard Mode. And for several other playthroughs switching between the two. Standard is annoying, because you essentially have to do EVERYTHING to get the secret ending. I remember dying to Sephiroth on Standard. >_> (I'm not sure about the Xemnas Gummi battle... If you're fast, it shouldn't be too bad...) I need to work on Shin, then...
Standard mode is pretty easy! I think I went through the whole game without seeing the continue screen! I just went on the game yesterday to find that I had been playing that save I talked about on Proud Mode! That's pretty weird, eh? I wonder if that fight with Xemnas's ship is hard? I guess so.
