We have three classes in a quarter, each of them two and a half hours long, and we get 15 hours for each quarter. So it's actually five credit hours per class. I can never transfer. Savannah is still scary, but we've found some pleasant things about it. Every day we don't get stabbed is a good day.
So how many classes do you do in a quarter? Is it the same set up as regular college, with most classes being three credit hours? Is Savannah still scary?
We have a summer quarter (so that using the word makes sense), but it's more optional. People take it if they need to catch up or if they're double majoring. You can graduate in four years without taking that quarter. And yeah, you get new classes for each quarter.
So, three quarters? Do you take three different sets of classes, or two?
Nothing is impossible! We have 10 week quarters, it's weird. But it works out. We have a long winter break and then go back early in January (before everyone else) and then spring break, spring quarter, and then we get out later than everyone else in the beginning of June.
Don't you guys also get out at Thanksgiving? Isn't that impossible?
I see them everywhere, and it's starting to make me uncomfortable. I have not started school yet. I don't arrive in Savannah until Sept. 13th and classes start the 15th. So late.
