I have never played the D'arc game, but i saw the good reviews. Here's a gameplay trailer I found, looks to be a tactical game. I so wish I can recommend I&II chronicles but its $28 plus $3 shipping for a used copy which i think is out of that limit. Ys Oath in Felghana or Seven would be a safer bet price range wise.
Thanks so much! Guess I didn't really have to make that thread after all. I already have Chrisis Core (It felt vaguely un-fulfilling) not terribly interested in FFIV, I have it for the PS1 (should probably start playing that one already) I'm really drooling over the Ys games, but I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to shell out yet - still have to plan for everyone else's presents before mine I was wondering if Jeanne d'arc was worth the cash, it has some good reviews. I just played some COD 3: Modern Warfare. I was dead in under three minutes. That's not bad considering my previous records.... >.<
I looked at amazon to see the good cheap prices on rpgs: Ys Seven is pretty low for a brand new copy on amazon its 19.11 plus shipping but you can also find it used for 13.11 plus shipping, Ys Oath in Felghana is at a good price too, you can find it used for 20.00 plus shipping. Ys I&II Chronicles is pricey at the moment you might want to wait that one out. They aren't on the PS store anymore so you'll have to get the physical games. Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection is going for 14.00 used, and theres Crisis Core which you can find new for &5 or get it used for 2.39. So those are my recommendations, hope that helped! EDIT: If you go for the Ys games, make sure to look for the normal editions, the premium versions are more expensive (the premium is the one with the soundtrack cds).
Well, I'm terrible at them. I tried playing one of those war type of games for the PS1 once. I ended up accidentally using a flamethrower on a friendly, so I don't think I should be trusted with those I just started playing FF7 again. But this time I'm naming all the characters after House's medical team - yeah, I'm pretty desperate for more PSP games. I've whined to my brother and he's offered to get me any cheap RPG I want. Got any recommendations?
I'm fairly good at shooting games, I play counter strike a lot at computer class during lunch break with my classmates and even the instructor plays too (he's the best player out of all of us combined). Depends on the title though really.
That's pretty impressive! As I am a helplessly competitive person, tho, I must brag in turn that one of our cats has learned to use the toilet. Without receiving any training.(I really have no idea how she learned that) I think her motivation was that the other cats are constantly drinking from there, and, hating them to the depths of her soul, she decided to contaminate the source...or something... :\ My brothers just received Call Of Duty 3: Modern Warfare for the PS3 in the mail, so they're playing that now. I'm really bad at shooting games, but I'm contemplating joining them. Are you good at those?
She knows commands like sit, stay, come, and out (meaning to leave the room shes in). For tricks, she can walk on her hind legs attempting to reach the treat she earned, she can also hop on her hind legs very amusing to watch.
O.o Netflix. It sounds like a dream, I'm jealous. I must make more money Yup, I got cats who do that too. I've just finished knitting a sweater for the worst one who keeps biting me (I feel silly every time I scold him because I named him Bilbo Baggins). Does your dog know any tricks?
No it wasn't actually, I saw it on the netflix queue and decided to instantly stream and watch it. You can usually tell what good anime is by checking the rating of the anime or anime film. I know how you feel about running into dirty stuff, it sucks. EDIT: I have one dog at home, it is a shi-tzu chinese breed with black fur. Cute dog but she is stubborn these days haha, she loves to sleep with me at night.
Yup. It was chocolate, but now I've awakened the sweet-tooth of my brothers, who want more sugary treats... No, I must say I haven't. I hate not watching stuff. And there's so many animes out there that I can't possibly see all of them So, was it recommended to you by someone? How can I tell what a good anime is? I keep running into shallow dirty stuff. I just recently watched 'The Avengers' have you been watching any of those Marvel films? Argh, one of the cats is giving me looks, I'd better let it out. Oh, do you have any pets?
I see, making a cake out of random occasion is fun. Have you ever heard of or seen Origin: Spirits of the Past? its an anime film made by funimation and its about a boy who finds this girl who is in a sleeping chamber and she is a survivor from the past and holds the keys to the city that was destroyed in the past and the ruined city of his era have intelligent plant life that rule a forest and the people of his city are looking for a method to coexist with the forest. It was rather fascinating.
Gotta agree withya there. Toy Story 3 was surprisingly good. Perhaps I should get my hopes up after all Yeah, I'm a huge fan of TLOTR series. I read most of Tolkien's books when I was twelve. But I was more engrossed with Frodo's adventures, so I won't be leaping to the theater to watch Bilbo...well, not as eagerly as I did back then, anyhow - I'll still be a crazed nut, just not that big of a one My little sis sent me a box of chocolates yesterday. It has awoken my sweet tooth. I think I'll go make a cake
Well generally i'm for it because Star Wars is my top favorite movie series. The story is going to be handled by the guy who wrote the story for Toy Story 3 which will be interesting to see. Toy Story 3 did have some really deep moments especially for a toy movie so I believe that he'd be able to pull off something worthwhile from something big like star wars. Although I am a bit scared of it not being as good but time will tell. Are you into Lord of the Rings at all? i'm not that big of a fan of it but I do enjoy the movies. I am looking forward to the hobbit movie coming out though, have you seen the trailers for it?
Ah! I watched Eraser too! That fridge scene was cool and the buster sword is incredibly cool - proly hard to wield, tho XD My brothers are watching 'Saving Private Ryan' again. I forgot what FUBAR stands for... Oh, man. I've been dreaming about this since I first watched 'The Return Of The Jedi' (and that was a really long time ago) of course I have concerns about what actors will be chosen, but I'm optimistic and really hope it turns out good - fingers tightly crossed. What do you think?
Movie weapon... I would go with that powerful sniper weapon from Eraser (one of arnold's films) it can shoot through walls and has a nice blast radius and also has built in night vision sight. I also fancy swords such as Morpheus's katana which he used in Matrix reloaded and (this is cheating a bit but no way around it) Cloud's sword in Advent Children, no way around mentioning movie weapons for me without mentioning his sword lol. EDIT: something came to my mind recently i wanted to add to this VM, what are your thoughts on the new star wars film that's going to be in development?
