  1. Your conversations with ethan make my night.
  2. You have a good point there.

And as for hitting the rep level, you're welcome. I'd ask you to create a statue of me in my honor, saying something like "Polk: The True American Hero" or something along the line, but that seems like too much work.
  3. Polk. I'm a woman. It's my job to point out all the wrong things men say.

Btw, you boosted me up to "taking classes with Quistis". Not that it really matters, but it's still kind of cool. So thanks for that.
  4. I did a quick google search, and couldn't find anything about Awesome University being accredited, but that doesn't look shopped in any way, so I guess it's real.
  5. I hope this alleviates some of your fear:

Oh, and I totally didn't edit a certificate I found on Google image search to make me seem like a learned professional, if that's what you are thinking.
  6. I'd feel a lot safer while getting this back alley cootie shot if I could see your degree. not that I doubt your legitimacy in the field, it's just a piece of mind thing.
  7. Was Shawn the one with the dumbass mohawk and two girlfriends? If so, then yes. Nothing matches the sheer douchitude of that.
  8. No you misunderstand! I like it! Seriously though it does hurt my eyes a bit when I look at it, and typing a message takes me too long if I don't hide your customizations. I always double check my spelling to make sure it looks okay, and it was a pain to highlight what I wrote to you and correct any mistakes. I change it back when I'm finished though.

Season One was better, imo. This season seems a little rushed to me. I love the lady that does the evaluations on the guys. Also, I think that no guy on Season Two even comes CLOSE to matching the douchiness that was Shawn (the loudmouthed one). He was something else, and that something else is not a good something else.

Awww... I'm sorry that the ending was ruined for you... It was a good one, but I guess you know that now.
  9. THERE'S A NEW SEASON OF TOOL ACADEMY? WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THIS? Seriously. I loved Tool Academy. So much delicious douchebag drama. Remotes are a precious thing to lose.

I always hear good things about The Others, but have never actually seen it. It doesn't help that a friend of mine spoiled the ending for me a while ago.

I'm upset that you don't like my page. I worked really hard on it.
  10. I don't know. I lost the remote to my tv and I need it to switch from the screen that I use to play my PS3 and Wii to satellite. I suppose I could check up on the VH1 site, because I sort of want to know what's going on with the Tool Academy. That show makes me glad that I don't have those sort of issues.

I don't watch too many horror movies, but I do like the more suspenseful, psychological thriller ones. I think the last movie that I thought was really good and suspenseful would be "The Others". Yeah, it's a little older, but I think it's really good.

Oh and btw, when I respond to your VMs I have to hide your user customizations. I'm sure that most people do that.
  11. Oh yeah, I remember that. It's always nice to know someone who's into the same trashy television that I am. What's the VH1 reality scene been like lately? I lost interest after the Stallionaire show ended.

And yeah, I know about things being so bad they're good. For the most part, that's how I like my horror flicks.
  12. I have a friend like that, she's changed her major 3 or 4 times now. But hey, if you went for 3 years, chances are you're close to some sort of degree. And it was really selfless of you to leave so that you could help out your family. It's nice to hear that your brother's better, though.
  13. Yes. I went to college for about three years, and I was studying different things. First was business, but I don't have a mind for business. I thought it was a broad enough degree to where I could do just about anything I wanted with it, but it just didn't interest me enough. So I dropped it.

I looked into being a dental hygenist, but the school that I attended only took 12 students a year into the program. I did take a few preliminary courses, but then I guess I got pessimistic about my chances of actually getting in, so I dropped that as well.

Next was Graphic Design, and I really enjoyed it! However there's not a lot of job opportunity where I live for that kind of thing. I really don't want to move too far from my family. So I switched to something else.

Next came Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Don't really know why I got into it. I think it was a suggestion from my mother. Anyway, I only had a semester of that (it was alright...), but then my youngest brother got really sick. He had to get some surgery done to remove a hernia from his stomach, but he had a reaction to the anesthesia which was near fatal. So I had to pretty much forego my college experience and help out my family take care of things. He's doing much better now but I have yet to return, and I'm not sure if I will or not. I may go back just to see if I am close enough to earning some sort of degree. I may get that Graphic Design degree after all if anything, since I enjoyed that the most. I can't be at my family's beck and call forever.

Well, that's my college experience in a nutshell! Heh. The counselors at the administrator's office always got a hoot when they reviewed my transcript.
  14. Haha, thanks! And yeah, it's Journalism with either a major or minor in film studies. Did you go to college at all? I know you've mentioned that you're really into art somewhere, you'd probably do really well in graphic design.
  15. I don't know anything about American Presidenting, but I know a little about how you feel about school. Bleh. Glad I'm pretty much finished with that sort of thing. Good luck in what you are studying to be! I remember reading that you wanted to pursue a degree in journalism right? From what I've read of your posts, I think you'll do very well, because you always show lot of personality, and they are really entertaining to read!

ROFL! If she gets out of line and I have to smack her, I'll be sure to tell her that a former American president suggested that I do it! I won't tell her which one, though. I'll leave her guessing, and probably confused.
