Dude. My roomie left monday morning & I got a newbie a few hours later. Total killer. I was hoping for a week of solitude.
I ended up leaving on a 3 AM bus, cuz my room got inspected early, and they herded us in a rather quick fashion.
Did you not say you were catching the 6 am bus? If so, we should try to meet up beforehand as I am taking that bus as well.

My job is Maintenance Analysis. Pretty much one of the best jobs you can get. And yeah, it's the best branch. *nod nod*
What's your job? I've always heard that the af was the best branch to go into. They said the af treats their people better and that they have better benefits.
I wasn't the biggest fan of Basic, heh... Kinda surprised I made it through. There were a lot of points when I didn't think I would. Now I'm in Tech School and missing everyone back home. It's not horrible, and I like my job, but I'm not a fan of the regimented aspects of things. Marching, standing at attention and such, room inspections, etc. Kinda a lone wolf. I hear that in Operational Air Force it gets better though. I'm being fed and being paid to go to school too, so I suppose I can't really complain much. It's probably one of the best options out there for most people looking for anything, like I was. Anyhoo... Wuv, Yer Mom
How are you liking it so far? I expect, being in tech school, would not be the same as being apart of the operational af. Where are you stationed for tech school? My friend has been thinking of joining, the af, if things don't work out. He has a bachelors in biology.
I flew to BMT on September 11th, and I went to Tech School on Veteran's Day.
