Yeah, true. I have decided I'm going to use 2h swords when I get my rebirth. Sword and shield sounded like a good idea at the start, and I did like some of the combos I threw together, but overall I am a damage dealing kind of person in these games. Yeah, I was trying to find the trees, but all but one is random. I found one and killed off many of the surrounding creatures, and came back in just over five minutes. -_-; The timer shouldn't really start until you're done speaking with the quest AI though - it takes thirteen seconds to initiate conversation with them, then you have to talk to them to find out what you have to do. >>; Overall, more or less thirty seconds wasted. ;-; Shadow didn't. =( Me and Victoria were the same height I think, just different proportions so that from a distance, she looked smaller than me. I think your character is really cute. ^^ What do you mean by "small" and "growing"? Vicky is taller than me by about four inches, which is pretty tall to me, and I doubt she's still getting taller. xD;
^^; So of helps that I had a +4 Zanbato and I was using Demon's Aura a lot of time, because most of the monsters in the 30+ are just outside of my normal damaging capability. But you'll get there soon, but I'm also using a 2h sword while you're using a sword and shield. The one handed sword will naturally be weaker overall than the 2hr. Doesn't mean you won't get to one shot things though. Yeah Boot Camp is hard until you figure out the trick. Hunt the bees down and kill them. Five bees spawn from a tree and there are usually like 3 trees so that's 15 kills right there. I think if you get it under 5 minutes you can get S Rank with only 25 kills. Um, I don't know. I don't know if Shadow gave you the wiki link I gave him for the White Knights Wiki I found that is probably the most useful thing you'll find on the internet relating to WKC. It has WKC2 talk. They mention the changes and what not and the avatar. I though I thought that Shadow was bigger and taller than you were. Maybe you just need the right clothes that give you a slimming look. ^^ But anyone's going to do look big and tall next to me. I'm a short little pint sized pipsqueak with an endowment complex. Shadow's character only reminds her how "small" she really is. But she's growing still, she says. >.>; Reminds me of the Lina and Naga duo, each to one extreme. ^^
I was impressed with the one shotting, not annoyed. "One day, I'll fight like that... *determined pose*" xD; Four people sounds like much more fun, and might make some of the harder earlier quests easier (depending on how far DragonHeart is able to get). ^^ I think I have seven S Ranks now. I'm going to try and solo a few more of the lower ones before Sunday (Boot Camp solo is harder than it sounds, and I can one shot everything >>; ), and maybe get Vicky to help if she feels like it. Awesome! Looking even more forward to it now. I also wonder if you can edit your character that you can port over from WKC, and if you can change their name? I felt so tall and big boned the other day when I played compared to you and Vicky - I was trying to go for the long legs, sexy character, but it didn't quite work - and my name doesn't work either. xD;; I'm not willing to pay for the pass just to change minor things. =/ It's silly, but it plays on my mind. xD;
I had a lot of fun. I was actually asking Shadow after my internet came back if you had fun. Because I wasn't too sure. I was worried that all of my one shotting and running ahead might have been annoying for you. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I've got Dragonheart on for next week as week, she said she had an essay to write that took more time than she planned for. I've got 12 S Rank quests right now. I would probably have a few more if I hadn't done exterminator 21 times. >.>; But yeah we'll have to try to work on some more S Ranks. If Dragonheart joins us though we probably won't be able to do anything past Greede because I don't think she is there yet. Though I might go and prod her to play the rest of the game so she can enjoy the full experience. ^^; That's good that the Silver Plate finally unlocked for you. The silver chainmail will probably eventually. Oh and I don't remember if I mentioned or Shadow told you. Avatar Knights are confirmed for WKC2 and are glorious! You can to customize them down to coloring their armor and selecting weapon and armor types. It is going to be awesome! I can't wait.

I was wondering if we could get some more S Ranks under our belts next time on other quests? I've unlocked a bunch since Sunday. Oh, and I got to Sinca and bought the Silver Plate Armour. xP But I prefer the Scouts Armour - it's green. D=

36 is what I was finishing the game. So if you finish the game you should be around that. Which the game is about 20-25 hours depending on how slow and thorough you play. Alright, looks like I'll get things setup for the weekend then. ^^
I'm available all the time. The weekend sounds good, so I have some time to get levelled at such. I'm level 19 at the moment, and I think I can maybe add ten more levels, if not more, before we play. I've been playing for just over twelve hours, and I'm already doing better than my other character haha. How long do you think it'll take to get to level 36? I think I could probably make it if I do some serious grinding, which is pretty much the plan for now anyway. I want items too.
Yeah, I looked a list of all of the items required and the quantity of each required to synthesis everything in the game once for the trophy. Needless to say it was ridiculous to read. And the bulk of them drop better I think or only in quests and not single player. So there is that as well. Though I think if you're working your want to GR12 anyway, you should get pretty far along the way. Oh I'm working on getting all my ducks in a row. Dragonheart confirmed she is good to play with us and gave me availability. I'm guessing the weekend will be the best the time we'll get for this. What is your availability for this? I've got a good quest that we can do to farm GR points. So I can get you ranked up quickly. Beyond that we'll just do whatever we want. I'd imagine probably try out a lot of the missions, but most are pretty high level. And I'm the only one that is level 36.
Oh, I didn't know that. I was following a guide, and I must have read it wrong. But yeah, that makes complete sense. xD I'm someone who just ends up keeping everything in games like this anyway, so I'll have loads of items for synthesis. At least, I hope I will... someone I know on the same forum with the guide is always playing WKC, but that doesn't seem to be long enough to get enough items. D=
The trophy is retroactive. It'll keep take of what you've had even if you sell it off. Because as I found out you can only store up to 250 weapons/equipment and you need to have 500 for the final trophy. So you would need to sell them to make room. But I would still hold on to them anyway since you can use them in synthesis later. All of the weapons use the other weapons I think, but I don't think a lot of the armor does. But I know I sold a lot of the armor and weapons off. But I also only bought from stores so I can I just get it again. I would keep stuff you find in chests though if you can't buy them. But I think you can on most of them. So you will probably be fine thinking about it.
I'm going to have to look into some towns then, haha. I'll remember to check them out. ^^ I collected loads of upgrade items with my first character in the game too. Mostly level 1 items, and perhaps one or two level 2 items. Even my new character has a few. I was almost going to upgrade her weapon, but realised it would be better to wait for a better weapon to upgrade so that I don't waste upgrade items. A thing with the items in the game is that I get so tempted to sell some of them - like unneeded weapons or armour, but that'll prevent/decrease chances of the equipment collection trophies. I don't know why you have to collect to much for it. ><
Yeah, the nice thing is that if you visit some towns that are high level. You can get some really nice stuff at the store that does not exist in the single player stores. It is where I got my Zanbato. But it is definitely true that you don't need synthesis or upgrades to beat the game. I went through on what I bought at stores alone. Which is one of the flaws that I had a problem with the game. The synthesis becomes unnecessary until you get into the online part of the game. One thing that is very nice is that the quests will drop a lot of good items as well. I've already going a lot of lv 1 and lv 2 upgrade items. Which have a good donation price to them, but can also be used to upgrade a lot of stuff as well. So it makes things a lot easier to get than in single player. I've gotten like 3 or 4 of them from one quest as a completion reward.
I'll continue to collect items then. I'm definitely going to focus on the online areas this time around - I didn't know that the online part was so popular. I'd read a review shortly after I'd bought the game which pretty much downgraded the whole online part. I don't even remember having a weapon drop for me, but I'm pretty sure I've had one or two. I never really got into the upgrading weapons thing, and found that I didn't really need to upgrade - the base weapons seemed to do just fine, so I think the upgrading weapons thing is mainly for online play - I'm assuming monsters are much tougher online. xD
Yeah, when I did my first playthrough on the game I did the same thing. It is probably for the best that you collect as much as humanly possible because you'll need it. If not for synthesis but for donating any extra you have. But I think the online areas give you better items than you can get offline in the story world. And I know that you can easily go and buy stuff that you normally can't find from other people's town. Well I don't know where I got the weapons I have that are better, but require higher level. I think I got some of them from the story in new game plus, because they certainly were not dropping the first time through. And I think some of them drop online. I'm pretty sure online will have better stuff than what you can buy, but I don't know if it will have better stuff than you can eventually make. Yeah there is a video on youtube of someone beating Demon's Souls in an hour. I didn't think it was possible either, but there are 4 15 minute videos of it. And there is a lot of stuff in Demon's Souls that you can't do everything in a single playthrough anyway. You choices to make and people that can be killed or not killed giving you different things.
