We had snow in mid May over here, and it rained in June... Strange weather now...
Especially now with global warming and all, the last couple of years we've had some winters without any snow.
I don't think our winters are colder than the ones in, say, New York. Although Belgium is located higher than the US... I can't really compare. We get a lot of rain in Belgium, Scotland and Ireland. The winters can be cold, but I don't think there's a noticeable difference between our winters and the winters in upper America. Our winters are mostly dry though. We don't get a lot of snow. Our summers can be really hot, really depends on the year. We're a small country. The more southern you go, the warmer it gets. The mediterranean sea (Spain, small coast part of France, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia etc.) is really hot during the summer. That's where we go on holidays. If a part of the state of NY has a hot summer, that "part" would mean for us the whole country, hehe. Belgium is about the size of 2 and a half times NY City I think. Which shows how large the "capital of the world" actually is! peace
