At least three characters from the original have made an appearance so I supposed I could watch it. Including the Andromeda Saint ;p I wouldn't mind doing this at all. I'm glad I caught you because it's my night off from work. Oh yeah, I work overnights now. I normally don't get Sundays off from work but I guess I will during the holiday season. And since you you've been kind enough to answer my questions then it's only fair to let you ask me anything.
Omega seems current as well from the looks of it. So it can keep feeding your addiction as well. Yeah, I think most of our conversations are over days or weeks rather than minutes/hours. But you caught me at the right time.
I noticed. I think this is the first time we had a long conversation like this. I'm truly enjoying I've heard of them. They both seem appealing enough.
You'll find that I have different degrees of interactions or persona, however you want to term it on the forums. Closed is what most people see. I act and work professionally and keep things distant. But if you interact with me on a level that appeals to me, you'll find that I won't shut up. I can be a real chatter box and quite unexpected. So it really depends on how you know me, because as much as I say it is a little strange, it is not that strange for me. Crunchyroll has Saint Seiya Omega and Saint Seiya the Lost Canvas, admittedly it is not the original Saint Seiya, but it is some.
It is strange when it's coming from a closed person like yourself. I still love astronomy. It's scary yet fascinating that there are stars dozens of times bigger than our sun. There are no videos on Saint Seiya, just a page of discussion.
Yeah, it's a little strange hearing my trying to sell you on Oh Great! He's normally someone I wouldn't give the time of day to if I just saw his art, beautiful as it is to behold. He does fall into the area of things I find bothersome and offensive, but I've discovered that there are some actually really good stories to be found if I got past it. I still end up finding the stuff annoying, but I do love a good story. Yeah, I enjoy astronomy as well. I used to be pretty into it when I was younger. I still find it pretty fascinating, but I have to manage the number of hobbies I have.
Oh I know it's not hentai, but I'm just as tempted to look up the author's name and research his past works. After what you told me, though, it does sound interesting. My teenage years was a phase I just wish I didn't get into, though. So overall I got mixed feelings about it. Well, I'll let you know once I get Crunchyroll up and running on Firefox. Saint Seiya is a series to get into. Then again, I've always been fascinated with astronomy.
Well he's stuff is safe, it's not hentai. His stuff is just a little mature. But that was what I was meaning about Oh Great! style. He has a tendency to get technical about what happens in his stories, especially Air Gear. So when they do something that looks crazy and impossible, someone will end up doing a commentary explaining the science to how it is possible for them to do something. There was a lot of physics talked about in Air Gear, which made it very interesting to read since you could have easily passed it off as fluff or all about fan service. There is a pretty deep story in there with a lot of heavy talk about how things work, there just also happens to be the fan service as well, but it is all so often passed off by the other characters as not to be considered with that it doesn't stop the story. You can still watch Crunchyroll without signing up for it. But I think the way the subscription works is that you have the free trial and then after you decide if you want to pay the subscription for it or not. But the majority of the content is available to users free without any hassle. Free users just have to wait a week on new content.
I tried to ride one when I was a kid. Never again ._. Hentai's a weakness I'm trying to get over (successful so far) so I doubt I'll read that. But what I meant was that they would explain the science in the anime. For instance, a master has taught his pupil about atoms. If their movement slows down, the temperature would grow cold. Things like that. Just earlier I signed up for Crunchyroll, but all it led me to was a page asking for a 14-day free trial. So for now I'm giving up on it.
Never know if you can ride it until you try. ^^; But like I said, I'd probably read it if I set the time aside. Though, if you like author's explaining their character's moves/attacks. You may like Oh Great!'s work, Air Gear and Tenjho Tenge. The only down side to him is that he's a former hentai artist, so he likes overly endowed woman and ecchi scenes, it's something I've worked to get past because he does some good stuff and his drawing is amazingly detailed. But I'm pretty sure Crunchyroll has a lot of Saint Seiya on their site and it is all legal. So I can see it there. I don't know how much they have though.
Yeah, no. I'll need a bike for this. Too bad I can't ride it x.x Pretty much the only thing offensive about it is the violence and how gruesome it can be sometimes, but after reading your works I can say you'd have no problem with that. Something I like about it, though, I how they sometimes explain the science behind the attacks they use. If you do watch it, though, I recommend the original with English subs, but those are hard to find. You're more likely to find it in Spanish and other languages since it was more popular in Latin America and Europe.
You survived The Inner Man, which was 200k, so what's 500k. There's not much of a difference between a sprint and a marathon, right? ;p My problem is that I'm pretty tolerant of nearly anything that's anime/manga. As long as it is not offensive, I'll end up watching/reading it. And I know that Saint Seiya isn't offensive, so if I put the time aside, I would totally end up checking it out. I mean I found out recently that I've seen 110 days worth of anime in my lifetime thus far, in terms of series I've watched. I've naturally watched some series multiple times, but if you tried to see everything I've seen that's how long it would take you to do so. >.>; So yeah, that should say something about my willingness to watch anything so long as it doesn't offend me.
I'd probably die during the race xD Then expect a PM soon. I have a tendency on being nosy so I try to keep it under control. Well, lucky for you I know a lot about Saint Seiya. I would just need to know your definition of "bad" and maybe I can tell you if it's worth your time. And hey, I would watch a lot of episodes consecutively whenever I found a source of vids online. Who needs to step outside for fresh air anyway?
It's ok, most people don't actually make it through Shift. In some ways, I think it is like an endurance race for people, but any good Shounen Jump is pretty much an endurance race. They're just so long. By the nature of the internet, I keep myself a fairly private individual. I do say in my bio if you want to know about me, ask. So I guess if you're that interested I've no problem talking about it. It's old history at this point. Just PM me if you really want to know. Yeah, it must be good if it keeps getting adaptions for it. I didn't have any problem with it when I saw the couple of episodes. I'm not following because I think it might be bad or something, but just because it is very long and I have the personality of when I get into something I need to binge rather than take it in moderation. I've gotten better, but I still have terrible habits of losing whole days to watching an entire series.
Maybe somewhere down the line. As I said, there's so much stuff that I have gotten into and I don't want to make a promise I can't keep. o_o You can PM me if you wish and we could talk about it more. I'm always happy to lend an ear to other people's stories. But I guess in your case, I'm especially interested since you keep so much to yourself so I would understand if you didn't want to tell me. In my opinion, Saint Seiya's a good series. Started in the late 80s and it stopped after the Poseidon arc. But in 2006 (I believe) they released the Hades arc, the final chapter of the original series. The images looked better than they did back in the 80s, too. Too bad the English Dub was canceled after 60 episodes, though.
