i got everything to work with if you want me to do more customizations let me know. heres the list of custom items i have: Helmet - Knight, Dragon, Iron Goggles, Cat Hood, Ponytails, Sunglasses, Chicken Head, Samurai Head, Clown Smile, Gold Visor. Body - Knight, Dragon, Iron, Cat Suit, Dress, Duck Float, Rocking Horse, Kimono, Karate, Gold Armor. Arms - Sword, Dragon Gloves, Iron Knuckles, Cat Paws, Slash Claws, Drill Arms, Chicken Wings, Fans, Boxing Gloves, Gold Gloves. Legs - Knight Shoes, Dragon Spikers, Iron Sneakers, Cat Paws, High Tops, Duck Feet, Bubby Socks, High Heels, Clogs, and Gold Boots

i've been making customization for bomberman just now, i got a few up on my album if you want to see. they're really funny.
this line just meant: "I seem to be going through the game faster than I used to" i already made a post edit telling my latest progress now if i was posting on your vm where i'm at, then that would be the wrong thing to do, make sense?
Isn't info like that best suited for the LP thread? And I'm doing alright, considering this is my first time trying to play through the game. I vaguely remember maybe playing it many years ago, but I think I got bored with it or something and didn't finish it...or get very far for that matter.
I seem to be going through the game faster than I used to, how are you doing in the game?

Thanks for the tip, and I posted in the LP thread to make it official that I'm doing this LP. I'm not far at all though.
man, this game just pulled a fast one on me. i was about done collecting all the secrets when i went to collect another item i fell through the ground now i'm stuck ><. guess i'll have to try again lol EDIT: make sure you complete the level first if you're gonna try to find secrets in each level. theres gold cards to collect and you can get custom parts to customize bomberman (you can do that in the main menu) about the cards, you might want to cheat on this one, i tried to get that gold card hidden in this one block but it fell underground and if you walked where it fell you'll be stuck under there. if you aren't going to go after them thats fine too. collecting 100 gold cards allows you to get to the extra level at the end of the game. i'll leave it up to you what you want to do. i haven't had trouble getting the custom parts in the game without getting stuck under the floor or anything.

the file i ran was bomberman 64 (U) (!). it kept my save even though it locked up at the start. i get my games from theoldcomputer nowadays. whenever you start a new game and the intro locks up in given place just stop the game and reload it
Oh, I just read your double edit. I already deleted the file from my computer. I suppose I could DL it again though. Which file did you get to run? The ROM I dl'ed had many different versions of the game. I tried out quite a few, and they all stopped at the same place.
It does suck that you won't get to play the game either, but I'm glad to know that there's nothing wrong with my computer. I used to get my games from Oldies Roms, but the site is down... Wonder if they got reported or something? Now, I head to CoolROM, or just google "Whatever game" Rom and check to see which site has it.
