So you have to preserve it so that it loses its taste? Then you add a bunch of other "fillings" to it? Wow, it looks strange, but now I want to try one. Actually, it is good. If you try not to think about the fact that you're eating a frog... That always gets me. Horse urine eggs...??? What are those? Unagi are pretty good, too. They're just eels. Your family doesn't like sushi? I think it tastes great. You can hardly taste the raw fish. But the thing is really expensive. If you go to a sushi bar, it costs so much. It's better to just go to an all-you-can-eat buffet for unlimited sushi. Yay! It's... not going so well so far, but I must do all I can to not have my messages cut, like this one!
It is, isn't it? Actually, you wait until it thaws in a few days, cut it open, and then eat it straight away. It's like string cheese in mashed potatoes it terms of texture, but it doesn't taste like that. You break dishes in a microwave? I remember microwaving corn in there. God, it took forever. It was like half an hour for four of them. Yep! But remember that you need flour and a bunch of other ingredients to make a good cake, too. I don't think they sell those in stores... Do they? I'd love to get my hands on an ostrich. =D
After the process is completed, the yolk becomes a dark green, cream-like substance with a strong odor of sulphur and ammonia, while the white becomes a dark brown, transparent jelly with little flavor or taste." It doesn't sound very good. It seems like some delicacy made on special occasions? I don't know! Funny uncited tidbit: "In Thai language, the common word for this type of preserved egg is actually 'khai yiow ma' (ไข่เยี่ยวม้า) which means 'horse urine eggs'." My avatar used to be Frog from Chrono Trigger. Although that wouldn't stop me from eating one to taste! I haven't really eaten anything exotic though. My own family gets riled up about me eating beef liver, hahaha. Or sushi. I've only had that once, and it wasn't really high class. I bet I'm going to have to cut this post again. Let's hope your suggestion passes. I'll go show my support now! Edit: Yup, cut right down the middle.
So you wait for them to thaw, then you open it. Then you let them sit around so they can get ripe? Or do you wait for it to ripen before you cut it open? Such a confusing fruit. Haha. I was always told to put no metal in the microwave. I just break dishes instead. We all have to satisfy our lifetime break quota, if you will. 20 cakes?! That's a lot of cakes... Ostrich cake. I wonder if people can tell the difference. Still, now I want to try and hard boil one of these. I bet they're expensive. "Century egg, also known as preserved egg, hundred-year egg, thousand-year egg, and thousand-year-old egg, is a Chinese cuisine ingredient made by preserving duck, chicken or quail eggs in a mixture of clay, ash, salt, lime, and rice straw for several weeks to several months, depending on the method of processing.
Now I want some ostrich jerky. I'd have eaten another animal that most haven't. Have you tried frog legs yet? I thought it was going to b absolutely disgusting at first, but it tastes just like tender chicken. That's it. I'm making the suggestion right now. I hate this cutting thing! Now it's cutting me again! There, submitted.
I think it tastes sweet regardless. But usually when you buy them, they're frozen. You have to wait a couple days before opening them, otherwise you'll get a durian with no flavor at all. Well, we were microwaving something and we didn't want to use a bowl, because then you'd have to clean that. So we decided to use aluminum foil, since it was the only thing around. I know to use the clear, wrapping foil instead now. That thing is safe to microwave. My God. Seeing it again, I realize once more how huge it is. I've been told that just one of those could be used to bake twenty cakes! What's a century egg? Is it really black in color like that? I suppose they preserve it for some time? But I doubt it's a hundred years.
I have no clue what it tastes like. I think some jerky products actually mix it in with beef. "Ostrich meat tastes similar to lean beef and is low in fat and cholesterol, as well as high in calcium, protein and iron. Uncooked, it is dark red or cherry red, a little darker than beef." No doubt there is a teriyaki flavor. Pffft, forget those people! I'll do it if you don't feel like it. I don't want to cut up my posts! You know, like I just ended up doing.
Have you tasted it in more than one stage of its ripening? I tend to like my fruit on the sour side, so semi-unripe is the best. Well, maybe not for peaches and pears. Those have to be just right. And is the majority of the fruit actually edible? I'm surprised it didn't burn, or that it didn't separate unevenly. Why would you put aluminum foil in the microwave though...!? I remember a friend of mine decided to microwave an empty bowl for 10 minutes. It shattered into hot little pieces. Probably about as much as a chicken egg relative to its size. Meaning a lot. Just imagine hard boiling this though. Usually I just eat eggs whole... but... Well, if anyone could hard boil this thing, it'd be Bill Gates! Supposedly they eat pelican eggs in some countries too. And have you had this century egg before? It looks interesting...
(The previous message was too long. I had to cut it. Here's the last paragraph.) Oh, you don't have to. Besides, I'll probably get some people coming over to me, telling me to make my own suggestions and not ask others to make them for me.
Well, it has a sort of "stenchy" smell to most people. It's a little bit like rotten fruit, and it's really strong. I think if you leave it to ripe a little, the shell will get softer and you could easily drive a knife through it. But you need to use a large knife to cut through it, like a chopping knife. I tried melting chocolate in a microwave once, and that worked just fine. Though, I was pretty impressed and relieved how my cousin and I once managed to microwave aluminum foil without it exploding. I did it again once, and blue sparks were flashing from the microwave... Er... He could always buy them from normal stores. Though at his expens, he probably has a store made specifically for him. But imagine how much cholesterol is in an ostrich egg... Ostrich jerky? You mean they eat ostriches? I've never even seen that. Does it taste any good? Is it like teriyaki or whatever?
I could probably take a jackhammer to that thing and it still wouldn't break. It looks sort of like a mutated pineapple. I can see why some people call it the king of fruits... what does it smell like? Hahahaha! They probably do it in a way that's similar to melting chocolate. Meaning you need to "boil" it in a special way. Which requires a two-layered pan. But that's home-made. I bet they use some infernal process involving demon summonings and life-draining suction cups for the stuff we buy. Oh, and then they add jalapenos or whatever to make it spicy. HARVESTED FROM THE PITS OF HADES. That'd make sense... if he was secretly a giant! What would happen if he had a hankerin' for a hard-boiled egg? How do you eat a whole ostrich egg?! There's probably enough in that for two people. Maybe if it's with ketchup he could. Speaking of which, ostrich jerky is becoming really popular as a protein supplement. Tired huh? Busy lately? Do you want me to go and make that suggestion RIGHT NOW?
The durian has a really distinctive smell, which most people can't stand. And as a result, not very many people can actually bear to eat the fruit. Since I'm Asian, I can bear the smell. If anything, I think it smells good! If you can get past the smell, you'll experience one delicious fruit. Though opening it is not that simple, because its really tough and spiky... I think they just heat the cheddar until it melts. Microwaving doesn't work, though; I've tried that. The result is a really chewy cheese that tastes nothing like nachos. Poor ducks. But wouldn't he be plucking from bigger birds? For example, those ostriches. He probably uses ostrich eggs to make his cake, omelet, scrambled eggs, and everything else that uses eggs as an ingredient. I think i was just tired. We were tlaking about how I should make a suggestion to expand the character limit in VMs, because you and I often run out of space and have to delete a few sentences to make room.
Those look really, really weird. The soursop sounds awesome though. It seems like it was in South America and was then imported to Asia though. But if there is a fruit that tastes like BOTH a strawberry and a pineapple, then I am in. That is irresistable. Does the durian really smell that strongly? How is nacho cheese even made. Is that like, the fat of what is already just concentrated milk fat and proteins? Probably not as bad as they say, but I'm sure it's bad enough. I had some nachos yesterday though and they taste great regardless of impending heart clot. He plucks the feathers from a few hundred well-bred ducks every day to stuff his mattress and pillows with. But since he's completely about waste, he doesn't even consider eating the ducks for fear of sleeping in the remains of what he ate. What were we talking about?! I think you've caught some sort of short-sentence disease from that Remi person.
Well, this is a durian and this is a soursop. They're both Asian fruits, so I've had them before. And they taste really good! I wonder if I can make nacho cheese with goat cheese? It could be worth a try... Haha! Try it! You'll love it. Oh, he probably has a disposable bed every day so he won't need to make it every morning! I will wage it then!
What's durian and soursop?! I almost thought you said "sour soup." I doubt it tastes sour. I mean, cheese in general is pretty sour too. They even make some cheeses by leaving the milk out to turn sour! And then some cheeses have mold on it! Goat milk's pretty normal I think. At least, I'm sure a lot of people would attest to that. I want to try some now. I wonder if there are any in the vicinity of LA. This is your fault! YOURRRRR'SSS. I think our world would be somewhat better off if he was... so I doubt it. He's probably swimming around in his pool of $100 bills as we speak. He eats off of plates and with utensils made from melted down coins, I bet! Sometimes that's true. But this is just a little thing! Gots nothing to do with anyone else!
