That's strange. The Text tool should automatically create its own layer. So unless you rasterize that text layer, you should be able to edit the text. Haha, too lazy to edit the message? xD
I tried to edit the text after I typed it but it wouldn't let me D: I'm guessing I have to choose layer or something? lol It was basically the same message but I edited the sig a little more so I reposted it ;P
I know, huh?! xD Those prank games are great. =D Ooh, that looks good so far! Maybe add a border on the outside to start? And how do you mean "fix" it? I think I would give it a little bright glow to contrast the darkness, but I'm not great at text. xD Ooh, deleted message?
What can do you think I do to improve this? still not done...and how do I fix my text?
rofl. I could play this all day haha I used to like "I SPY" a lot too.
That's kind of what I though of, maybe using the blur tool...I'll check and see if the ctrl thingeh works.
Does GIMP have the Background Eraser and the Magic Eraser? I mostly use those to cut out renders. But you're talking about the little rough, white edges after cutting, right? I'm not sure if it has it, but Layer Masks of the renders that are smoothen with Gaussian Blur are good. Also, you can just take the Blur Tool and go along the edges to make them smooth. I have a question for you. Hold down Ctrl and click on a layer image. Does that select everything not transparent for you?
I think I figured it out, but I use the magic wand, and there's still a little white around the image...is there a way to get rid of that? it's not a lot but noticeable...
If it's still not working, can you upload and show me the "transparent" image. I wanna see if my browser can support it better.
Is the box supposed to be checked or unchecked? I think I had it checked... and I use Safari.
Erm... the only other thing I know is, did you check the box, when saving it as a PNG, that says "Save color values from transparent pixels?" Also, I heard that Firefox supports transparency very well, but not so much IE. What do you use?
Fail lol I'll figure it out.
That's weird. xD If you save an image with transparency as PNG, then it should be that way. Did you figure it out?
Yeah...hmmm, I'll try it again and see
That's strange. I know that transparent sections in avatars turn white on profiles. Does yours still not keep the transparency in threads?
