Same here, the only difference is that Europe is obsessed with soccer especially the part where I live.
Me, neither, but the thought is enough to make me dodge. xD Somebody I once played against broke a lamp. =P God, the U.S. is so obsessed with football it's unfair. =O At itimes, everything is football, and it completely blocks out everything else. >.<
Hahaha...those things do happen sometimes and yes they can be pretty annoying although I've never experienced a paddle in my face, not yet. Only sport that I can watch and frankly that I take some interest in it is soccer, I don't pay too much attention to the others though. I love in Europe thus baseball and American football are not common here and that would be the main reason I've never played them or seen them in real life either.
I find it annoying how sometimes, we both go after the ball and our paddles collide and miss, or when none of us goes after it and it bounces off the table. xD I also have a tendency to fear my partner whacking me in the face with the paddle by accident. =P Actually, I barely even understand the sport, so I don't like it. Where are you?
You have a good point there. It can be mess to play in pairs, sometimes even if the other player has some skills. But when both of you have enough experience playing in pairs than it's really fun and more challenging. This might sound weird to you but I've never seen someone play football or baseball so far and needles to say I've never played them. They're just not popular around here and to be honest football looks kinda aggressive and baseball makes no sense even tho I know the rules =).
Really? I actually prefer playing individuals. Maybe it's because the people who I have to partner up with are horrible players? xD Soccer is probably the only big sport that I don't dislike. Of course, I don't like playing it, either, but I can stand it. Other ones like football and baseball, I can't stand.
Table tennis is fun, especially when you play in pairs. You don't need to be talented to enjoy the sports, that would be my case. I just love to play, it keeps me fit and for some strange reason i feel great about myself after playing few matches of soccer.
Actually, now that I think about it, it's split about half-half nowadays. One half likes sports, and the other half doesn't. Really? That's probably one of the only sports I don't suck at, either. xD
I guess you're right, I've gone little overboard with that statement but for some strange reason I feel these kids nowadays do take less interest in sports. I myself suck at most sports except table tennis but I do love to play them, to stay little active.
Oh, fear my wrath. >=] Actually, I'm not really into sports that much. =P But that doesn't mean all kids my age aren't. Most of the ones at my school love sports. I'm just one of the select few who don't. xD
Good to hear that I'm not the only one who has that kind of problem =) Anyway also great to hear that the school is going pretty well, besides that I hope you have time to do some stuff you enjoy, like playing games, sport activities and such. OH, don't tell me that you're not good at some kind of sport, I swear it seems like most of the kids nowadays don't take any kind of interest in sports.
