  1. yeah, it's pretty much the same exact thing. the stuff we use is called kosciusko spicy mustard
  2. I boil mine, my friend deep fries his, but I never fried mine afterwards. I also usually sautee onions and coat them with that. I'll have to try your way one day, it sounds delicious. I would have to substitute the polish mustard, I doubt we have that where I live now, for some spicy deli mustard.
  3. sounds like a fun little night. i usually boil my pierogies, and then fry em up in butter/ oil with onions and peppers, and some polish mustard. and yeah, i was pretty upset about the twins, but i'll live. as long as the yanks and phillies lose, i'll be more than happy.
  4. Cooking dinner for my girlfriend consisting of boiled pierogies and a tomato sauce, more spefically a meat sauce. Going to play this pretty fun board game, Munchkins at my friend's place later. Been doing a lot of homework/studying with college. I've been watching a little post-season baseball and I was mad that the Twins didn't win game two and that miss call by the ump - they can't beat the Yanks at all in the playoffs that's why I don't like them to get in. The Cards going down so soon and easily was surprising.
  5. things have been pretty good. and yourself?
  6. Why hello there, how goes things?
  7. I think LoDuca is a free agent now. They could pick him up, but I think his career is more or less done. Schneider can apparently call a good game, but with the staff we have now, I don't think it matters much. Right now I'm a big fan of Santos. I know Joe Mauer's contract expires this year or next, and there are talks of him maybe coming to a big market team. I'd love to see him on the Mets, but I don't think the Twins would ever give him away.
  8. Yeah, Zito, Hudson, and Mulder haven't been the same since they left Oakland. Piazza is one of my favourite Mets as well. I haven't really thought about my favourite all time though. I tell you who I sorely miss is Lo Duca, he created the fire the Mets had in '06 which they have severely lacked since then. I'm no fan of Schneider either, I prefer Santos as he has more pop and from what I know pretty decent defensively.
  9. I was watching the game when Wright got nailed. I just sat there shocked. He's my favorite player at the moment, and second favorite of all time. Piazza being #1. I just hope that the trainers and doctors don't screw him up like they did with Church.

Yeah, Oakland definitely can change a pitcher. Just look at how Zito went from an ace to... not so much. It makes me pretty happy that we didn't sign him when we had the chance.
  10. Our misfortune continues!!! Wright got plunked on the head. The baseball gods have cursed the Mets this year.

That is very interesting to hear that about the Oakland Stadium. One thing that I definitely don't like about it is the huge foul territory. Pitchers moving away from there have to adjust cause they don't get those outs in other stadiums.
  11. It's pretty funny you mention that stadium in particular. I have 2 friends who've been out there and they both fell in love with it. Apparently it's pretty cozy. I really want to see Pittsburgh and Dodger Stadium though. Oh, and Kansas City too.
  12. Of course I would never look forward to going to an Oakland A's game; that stadium is ugly to say the least, they desperately need a new stadium.
  13. I would love to visit every park. I've driven past Comiskey Park in Chicago, but was never inside. I actually went to the All Star festival last year when they had the game at Yankee Stadium. I loved the atmosphere, but the lines were out of control.
  14. I think one dream I have is going to every park in one season. That would definitely require a good paying career to fund that. I've also been to the pre All-Star game festival(?) when it was held at Philadelphia (1996). That was pretty fun; the one thing I clearly remember were how good the hot dogs were.
  15. Damn, I'm a little jealous. I've been to both old and new Mets and Yanks stadiums, Rodgers Center in Toronto, Philly, and then Camden Yards and Nats Park. I'm trying to get another roadtrip going to see Fenway, but tickets are impossible to get, and we don't want to do standing room only.
