  1. Yeah its pretty amazing how they could build such things in those ages especially china and the Romans etc i love ancient china and japan as well because of the martial arts and samurai and their history lol yeah i know it sounds pretty geeky
  2. Yeah! I also like Greek Mythology - same kind of reason.

    I also like Eygpt Architecture. I find it amazing that they were able to build the pyramids in that day and age! I'm sure we'd have trouble making them, even with cranes now lol.
  3. Lol same here i like the fact that they worshiped more than one god
  4. Hiya! I didn't think I'd ever meet a fellow Eygpt lover on here lol!
  5. Hey fellow Egytianologist lol
  6. Yay i just got my 6 Matt Reilly books in the mail today from ebay, so now i have over sixty books and i have only read just over half of them lol i have some serious reading to do.
  7. I am assuming that is a book store lol sorry i forgot an author David Eddings his books can be a little bit boring in some parts so be careful with his, they are a little bit harder to get into. He does a couple with his wife Leigh that are really good one that is really good its called the Redemption of Althalus its good but it took me a while to read because i stopped it and then didn't finish it until two years later but it was good.
  8. OMG, I've cried reading a book! So many in fact... EVEN in Harry Potter when I found out Tonks died! ;_;

    Haha, I'll have to check in Boarders next time I'm near by...
  9. Yeah for me i did especially Robin Hobb I got so into it that i think i cried... (yes cried, from a book) several times through the book lol. People find it weird i have never cried watching a movie but i tell them the books that i have really got into to and its like your there seeing everything happen and so the sad bits really upset me lmao.

    So yes in my opinion all three authors a like that, although Dan Brown took me a while to get into but once i did i couldn't put it down.
  10. Well, any of them. They all sound pretty good to me lol. I just need to know if I they are kind of book you kind of... fall into. Like... you can't put in down lol.
  11. Would i recommend whos book ?
  12. Meh, they told me Rob was going to fall or jump out of a plane or helicopter, and was going to use that info the scientist gave him about how a certain amount of material can protect you from a great fall. Something like that anyway. :S

    Haha, lucky! Would you recommend his books? They aren't to difficult are they?
  13. How did they spoil it? i liked it, it was brilliant to. Yay i recently won a heap of Matts books. I already have his Seven Ancient Wonders and Six Sacred Stones and i just won some more on ebay i can't wait.
    I also like David and Leigh Eddings i have just about everyone of their books and my fav is Robin Hobb all four of her trilogies now i just have to get her new ones.
  14. Haha, no worries about it being long lol!

    The book was kind of hard to read, but it was better than the film! I'm still reading Angels and Demons, but someone kind of spoiled it for me and I lost heart lol. -_-;;

    Matthew Reiley... I've heard the name somewhere before, just can't place where. I'll check him out!
  15. Yeah the book was heaps better than the movie by far, i try to explain that to the people who haven't read the book but they just laugh i've read his Angels and Demons another fascinating read i love books that put a fantasy spin on history and stuff like that. I am currently reading Matthew Reiley books he is a bloody brilliant author his main character is an aussie specialist army guy who has a team that races against other countries to get ancient artifacts its a bit to long to explain but they are really good. lol i just realised how long this post was sorry lol
