Sorry that I haven't replied sooner, but I've been busy and really ill. In short: I like original music, although R'n'B is generally not my taste (too catchy and easy most of the time) and there is some really shitty electronic music out there too. But I mostly listen to guitar related stuff and some electro (like Justice, Boys Noize, The Prodigy). But really, the number of artists I listen to is too big to name and I discover new music every day There has been made so much good music during the previous century and there is so much out there. Oh, I'm not a fan of most metal and I utterly HATE emo music, but I listen to everything else you listed in your post. And I do like the ska period of The Clash.
I like a lot of stuff. I'm not really sure how to narrow it down too much. Obviously I love the ska (as evidenced by my signature) and I like punk, electronica, industrial, alternative in general, psychadellic, New Wave, indie, emo, some rap, some metal, classical/movie soundtracks, etc... My favorite bands are They Might Be Giants, Brave Saint Saturn, Less Than Jake, The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, The Descendents/All, Reggie and the Full Effect... essentially, I like fast, energetic music. Although it doesn't have to be fast always; it can also be slow melodic. I like strange stuff, and I like catchy stuff. Just not something that's overly bland or overly arrogant. What do you like? Anything specific you'd wanna talk about? Anyhoo...
