In that case then I'll probably end up with an axe. Hack and slash, I say! *gets bombarded by a hail of arrows* Help me? o.o' Seriously, though, I hope I can be of assistance once I reach a high level.
With how things are in WKC2 I don't think a tank is as important. I can tank myself as a mage with the skills I have. I end up soloing things that others would have trouble with doing. Mages are pretty crazy and awesome.
Looks like I'll find out when the time comes. Axe still sounds appealing but I could go for a spear if a human shield is somewhat needed
If I remember right spear is still a bit of a tank, but I think it got modified from WKC to WKC2. So I don't know how much of a tank it is still. I think to some degree they use the Incorrutus for tanking, the mecha. Well keep working at it and you'll get there.
Unless they have something small like a hatchet, I'll probably stick with bow. But if a tank were needed in our group, what weapon would you recommend? And I'm kinda excited about it and all, but I'll probably won't post chapter 9 for a while. I only wrote eight chapters and it'll probably remain that way until I can motivate myself to continue. But there's no going back now :3
Bow is pretty good, but it is more support. Axe, I don't know much about it. I don't how good it is. It is good for damage, but slow I know that much. Yeah, I saw you posted your story.
Bow and axe seem to appeal the most to me. Would definitely try those out. And woo-hoo! After some editing my first chapter is good to go. Editing out the mistakes for each chapter might be the hard part.
Well it is nothing so rigid as you pick a class and go. You pick your skills from 8 categories. There is short sword, long sword, spear, magic, divine, bow, staff and axe. So it doesn't really build to warrior or something like that.
I'll be sure to ask you about the basics and all. I'm most likely to be a warrior or something. What classes are there anyway?
The game has in game forums, but there is also neoseeker which has an established community as well as a decent wiki. I've been a little disconnected from the game as of late and I'm a mage. So I mostly know about mage class stuff, but I should be able to answer most questions so long as they are not too specific.
Once I get into the game, I'll be sure to read what the forums have to offer. However, I may just come to you since you've been such a great help already ;p
There are actually official guilds in WKC2. They have their own homepages in game and hometowns as their base. It is a real feature in the game, it just wasn't in WKC. Well you'll want to decide what type of class you want to play. You'll also want to either read up on the literature on the forums or get some feedback from me about the classes. Since it can be easy to screw yourself over. You can undo things when you get to certain points, so you can't permanently wreck yourself, but you can set yourself back for a while.
I think I understand what guilds are. They are basically groups of people, that may or may not help each other out, right? I'm speaking from experience, but I only played one MMORPG after all. I'm sure I'll be able to return the favor for your help. I'm willing to be a meat shield for you and Entity if necessary
Well the story for WKC is only about 20-30 hours long depending on how you play. In the first game there weren't, but there are guilds now, but the two are unrelated.
Then I'll be sure to unlock as many areas as I can. I'll attempt an all-nighter if I have to, but I won't rush through the whole thing either (unless I play, like, 6 hours straight o_o) Guild Rank. So...there are guilds?
