Actually, here is is: Dell Inspiron One 2320 Desktop | All-In-One Design | Dell New Zealand The middle one.
Yeah I was actually looking at something a little less (especially in the screen size department. I wasn't sure how big 27" was, but Jesus.). Unfortunately, that was on my friends laptop and I can't find the specific model atm.
Also, that all in one should be more than powerful enough to suit your needs. Although I prefer laptops for their portability. This is going to be for strictly home use, yes?
I think you average about 5 boobs per episode.
I've started watching Game of Thrones. One episode in and I'm pleased at the number of boobies.
You cant go wrong with any of the i-series intel processors, theyre all quad core and very efficient. The all in one pc's are designed as is, so that might make upgrading difficult if you plan on doing so. If not, then the all in one's are pretty convenient for everyday tasks. Even budget pc's these days can be quite powerful. If you post the specifications of the one you are thinking of buying, I will tell you how powerful it is.
Hey Rowan, can you give me advice about buying a new computer? I'm interested in getting an all-in-one, but do they have features and specs to justify them? I'm not going to use it for gaming, but I do need something with a bit of grunt (and multiple processors) to run my scripts for work and uni. I'm gane to spend around NZ$1400. My girlfriend is an illustrator and would benefit from a somewhat design-orientated computer, although she is mostly tactile. Can you recommend anything? I'm liking the look of this: XPS One 27
I still stand by my statement -- because at the time, to the best of my knowledge, they weren't being disorderly. If they were removed without just cause, it would've been homophobic. Would you have stood up for that, had that been the case? If their behaviour was really disorderly, then their removal was fair, as I stated. Also I suspect part of the retraction was because of intense media pressure. This was big news; the withdrawal was the first item on both of the major 6pm news broadcasts. People don't know are debating you on Facebook -- that's a level of weird and scary I hope I never face. I think I learnt my lesson though: always, always, always reserve judgement.
Yeah I understand your perspective, but in my mind I don't want to stand for anyone being able to discriminate against something that is not chosen by those who hold it. A bar can kick you out because of the way you are dressed, or because you can't afford the drinks, or because you are rowdy, or any number of reasons that essentially reflect the decisions made by people. A bar cannot--to my mind--kick someone out because they are a man, or because they're gay, or athiest, or disabled, or old (iffy, because we discriminate on age for bars... but everyone will eventually become of age), or Asian. Not only is it not even in their interests to be doing so, it says to that person, 'You are lesser because of who you are'. That is the very reason why human rights are enshrined. They must never be used as a basis for discrimination. (Of course, exceptions exist--women's gyms is notable, as are sports leagues divided along gender. It's not black or white, but being in a bar is not a grey issue. If they were not rowdy (and I believe they weren't), then they were kicked out because they're gay.)
Hopefully it doesnt effect their relationship. But my whole point in the begining was that while the liberal will strive for the rights of people, you will take away the rights of others in doing so, the right to remove someone from a private establishment (in this case im not so sure if the bar is or not) is totally upto the buisiness owner, for whatever reason they wish. A smart person would not use a reason so controversial such as gender or race and would just say something else. I agree with you, its disgusting they would remove them for that, most men would find that an attractive thing to see anyway (even though it was probably nothing more than a small kiss which shouldnt have bothered anyone) but in the end, my stance is firmly on the rights of the buisiness and the decisions they make. They can make bad decisions and good decisions. You want there to be a law that says noone can be homophobic, in my mind its almost like a mental ilness, something that cant be controlled or helped, a state of mind however unfair it may be, is what it is.
Apparently the bar claims there is no CCTV. Which sounds ridiculous. I know both of then well, dancing on tables is so out of character. Also, they've only been going out two weeks. Pretty dramatic start to a relationship, they're on the front page of the morning paper.
I just read the article.I'd really like see some footage of what happened. I automatically assumed it was an order from the owner, but no owner is stupid enough to kick out buisiness/money. There are dickhead bouncers, so maybe they are telling the truth. I'd love to know the outcome, keep me posted!
I noticed immediately. I'll watch this tomorrow when I have a spare moment, about to sleep now. I'm really interested to see what the outcome is. I did read the article though, it mentioned one girl was leaving as she was kissing her gf goodbye, did the bouncer remove the other girl though??
