  1. I've thought of it, but seen many people just go right back to cigarettes, my dad being one of them. I am odd with cigs, if I'm driving, I'll smoke it down to the bottom no problem, hanging out with friends? No problem smoke it down. I'm at work? Just walking around, I barely get pass half and throw it out, at home? Not hanging out with anyone? I'll get half way and get disgusted. I just need enough money to supply weed over cigs and quit that way lol, if only, that's way way to expensive for me. My dad said I will quit when I either get tired of smoking them, or for some *****.
  2. I am lucky, this is the most interaction ive had with the forum in months. I guess it must differ from person to person. I smoked moderatly for 3 years, gave up cold turkey when my asthma flared up one night, havnt had a smoke since. For me, it was something id do when I was with the guys, like a ritual. Soothed the soul. I know that feel, and sometimes I miss it. I have since replaced the feel with an 'e-cig' which has filled that small void when the guys go out front for a smoke, i can once again join them without it being awkward and just standing there. You would be surprised at the quality of e-cigs, the amount of vapor that looks identicle to smoke is immense. It depends on which one you get, but if you are serious about quitting, it might very well be the first step you take.
  3. You're lucky I've been stuck at work and finally leaving or you would be waiting for my replies all day lol. (no internet till tomorrow at my condo)

Cold Turkey sucks, it sucks so much. I've seen so many bad effects from cold turkey, the problem is...people just can't cold turkey, it drives some to want it more and more. Hell I've tried it on cigarettes, went a full month and it ****ing sucked...I'm still smoking after 5 years.
  4. I was about use ciggerettes as an example, but you already said what I was going to say. I guess it boils down to whether or not a person cares about the drug user, or cares about the global effect its having on society; in terms of crime/corruption etc. I think if you risk taking the drugs and becoming addicted, you also risk having to give them up cold turkey. Help should only be given to those who seek it.
  5. That is true, but I don't know if you've felt that NEED when it comes to a substance. People just give in, weaker minds. I give in to the cigarettes sometimes, usually when I'm out of them and I smoked some weed. It is all mind over matter but as I said, some people don't want to fight it.
  6. But it certainly isnt true that a person will die without getting their fix, so therefor it cant be a necessasity, can it? Isn't it a case of mind over matter?
  7. "Need for me is something that is required in order to continue living."

That right there, when people start thinking like that towards said substance then it's an addiction. wake up in the morning and first thought is I need to find a way to get my fix? That is what I'm talking about, when the need for the substance is taking over everything else.
  8. i had started 5 some months ago, but I never finished it and lost interest (that usually never happens to me). I remember reaching the castle of the bad guy, i forget his name. I fought gilgamesh there and im pretty sure it was after I destroyed this flying airship with cannons... Anyway. I had started 6 a long time ago, but never finished it. I think after I finish little kings story ill give it a shot. Ive heard kefka is one evil dude.
  9. Before I played VI I heard good news. I played V before it though, once I played VI. It was amazing. If you play V and then VI you can see how much they changed in the game. VI is IMO the best one.
  10. I did the same thing before I owned a memory card. No playthrough is ever final. Im thinking of playing through the older ones since I enjoyed the ff4 remake so much. Perhaps ill start with 6.
  11. It was my first FF game ever too. Must have done Disc 1 like 5 times before even getting pass Timber lol.
  12. I've played FFVIII to many times. I actually wont touch the game again until my final final playthru on a PS3 when I buy it on PSN.
  13. I pick them online chicks up 24/7.
  14. hmm?
