  1. Tom Hardy was brilliant in Warrior, can't wait to see him in The Dark Knight Rises.

I think I'm one of few people who actually likes Superman Returns. Sure, there are several rather stupid scenes (the one where they shoot him in the eye) but it's an overall good movie. Kevin Spacey's one hell of a Lex Luthor.

I'm also kinda surprised, pleasantly though, Sony's doing a Venom movie, looking forward to see how that turns out.
  2. Yeah it's definitely the best. I do agree with you about Bane though, I preferred his old voice. That being said, I think Tom Hardy is going to play an awesome Bane.

I also can't wait for Superman (or Man Of Steel as I have heard it's going to be called). Hopefully they take a darker, less cheesy approach than the last films. Even if the old ones were really good.
  3. I have high hopes for it as well, The Dark Knight is by far the best comic book movie out there, if it's sequel happens to surpass it that will be, for lack of better word, unbelievable.

Am I the only one who likes Bane with his old voice, sounds more intimidating, although if it's indeed true that is hard to understand him through out the movie than I guess it's better this way. One movie I'm also looking forward to is the new Superman, I mean two of the biggest geeks in Hollywood are working on it, Zack Snyder & Christopher Nolan, it's bound to be good.
  4. Definitely can't disagree there. Especially Batman, that looks like it's going to be a hell of a movie. It has the potential to actually be better than Dark Knight (which I didn't think could happen)
  5. I honestly can't wait to see it. New trailers for both The Amazing Spiderman and The Dark Knight Rises look exciting, a truly great time to be a comic book fan, wouldn't you agree?
  6. I have indeed and, not to rub it in, it is amazing. Definitely see it when you get the chance. I love how it ties up the other films, especially Thor and Cap America, which I thought were slightly lacking in something.

I knew it was going to be good, but not as good as it actually was.
  7. Seen The Avengers yet? CineStar bought our old cinema and right now they're doing some construction work on it meaning I wont be able to see it quite yet which makes me sad =(
  8. Yeah I have heard the same thing. Based on the demo, I feel as though Bioware have taken out a few aspects of what made the previous entries and RPG, even in RPG mode. Still, I enjoyed the demo a lot, and hopefully the rest of the game lives up to my own expectations.

I should have the game tomorrow, so I will let you know of my findings. And I didn't realise Clint Mansell was doing the soundtrack. Definitely one of my favourite composers.
  9. Aside those annoying kids and trolls on metacritic, who I would gladly beat up if I had the chance, I heard few discouraging things about Mass Effect 3 from people I trust. Apparently, your role in major discussions is non existent, options on the left side of the circle are in most cases barely there, one guy even send me a picture showing just how original Mass Effect 3 is, and goddamn, Bioware wasn't even trying to hide elements they clearly ripped off from other medias. And judging by Gamespot video review AI isn't really all that bright.

I'm bit skeptical after all this and more which might not be a bad thing, lower expectation equals higher chance to be pleasantly surprised. I'll have first glance this weekend, and will only be able to play it on weekends (long story), one thing I'm already amazed by is the soundtrack, Clint Mansell did amazing job along with promo work by Two Steps From Hell. If by any chance your get your hands on Mass Effect 3 before me, and that's a pretty high chance, I would appreciate if you would leave me with your impressions, without the spoilers of course.
  10. Same here, although I agree with you on the DLC. If it wasn't ME I'd probably boycott it to be honest. But that's the point, too many people are looking foward to this game to not pay it. DLC is getting rediculous.

Arkham City is my GOTY 2011. Even though I put in a lot more hours into Skyrim and others games, I had the most fun playing Batman. I did read that article, and there was a lot of interesting stuff to be found. Especially that test. Creepy stuff.
  11. I personally can't wait for Mass Effect 3, though I think Bioware has pulled another **** move with this one. Those who genuinely want to buy this game need to slip another 10 bucks for something that should have been part of the game in the first place. I'm telling ya, these DLC's are one of the worst things that happened to gaming.

On a bright note, I've beaten Arkham City couple of weeks ago and that game is pure gold. I also found an interesting list called "few things you haven't noticed while playing Arkham City", among dozen of minor things one mind blowing pops out, apparently Harley Quinn's pregnant. You can find a positive pregnancy test in Jokers hideout, yikes.
  12. Yeah MvC 3 did suffer from that as well. I found that game easier to get into by just playing though. I do agree that buying the first versions of Capcom's fighting games is a big mistake. I made that mistake when I spent full price on MvC 3.

That's the main reason I am not buying SFxT when it comes out. That and Mass Effect 3.
  13. I managed to beat him with several characters, Chun Li (my all time favorite), Ken, Ryu, Sagat, and Viper (by spamming her fire kick). As for the tutorial, Marvel vs Capcom has the same issue, and that game's even harder to get into.

One thing I learned about Capcom, never ever buy their first version of Street Fighter or even Marvel vs Capcom, waste of money as they always release the improved one couple of months later.
  14. Glad I'm not the only one then haha. I think if, as I said, it had better tutorials I would have felt different. Sin is definitely one mean bastard, only characters I beat him with was Ryu and Sakura.
  15. Sin's one tough ****er even on lower levels, when going through with characters I'm not really good with I would chose "very easy" and "one round" and even then I had difficulties beating him, so I have to agree about Street Fighter IV being hard.
