And why were the Mets swinging at pitches from position players that couldn't strikes???? They could've walked in 5 runs....
Yeah, the last one I had was The Show 06 for my PS2, and I really wanted to hop on with the next gen, AND see the renditions of Citi Field and new Yankee Stadium. I only wish I held off and picked up 2K10 instead, so I could get the Twins new field too.
Wow!!!!! I guess that is just one way for people to know how bad the Mets' season was. I'll probably get next year's baseball game; I'm not one to buy every year for a roster update. The last baseball game I have is for the '04 year.
Yeah, that game did get pretty easy. I picked up MLB 2K9 for the 360, and it's kind of a similar situation. It was way too easy to pick runners off, so I had to adjust the difficulty settings. On top of that, it's a living roster, so the Mets totally sucked. They went from a 95/100 to a 38
I found World Series Baseball '96 easy - everytime Mo Vaughn or Jose Canseco would get to the plate they had a very good chance of hitting a homerun (to name a few). It was a fun game too bad I threw my genisis away; I hadn't played it in years so my parents inquired about its status and I said they could toss it. I also had a good soccer game, I think it was FIFA International Soccer, the only soccer game I ever owned.
I started a new thread about some remixed classic video game songs that I put on youtube, they were not done by me. Just letting you know in case you are interested. They are all very good.
hahaha, if only we could get something like that for this world series.
I remember listening to the radio 5-7 years ago, just as the playoffs started or just before; the people on the radio were talking about having a Red Sox-Cubs World Series (before the Red Sox won in '04) and that their curses can't end and something would happen to cancel the World Series. They said that an alien invasion would halt the World Series between them, there would be no winner that year, and their curses would still be alive.
I feel like in regular season games, it should be left as-is, but with the playoffs and World Series, you need to be absolutely sure for every call. Balls and strikes are one issue, and should be left alone, but things such as fair and foul, and if a runner is safe or not, should be able to be reviewed if the call is THAT close. The Yanks only got screwed over on one minor play, and have gotten upwards to about 4-5 calls in the 7 games they've played so far. I'm just dreading this year's World Series. I'm really hoping for two miracles, haha.
With the huge debacle of umpiring in Game 4 of the ALCS, what are your views on instant replay in baseball? I wasn't to receptive to the idea but after last night, and Game 2 of the Yankee-Twin ALDS series I'm thinking that they may need to implement an expanded instant replay system. All the breaks the Yanks are getting reminds me of the Jeffrey Maier Incident in the 1996 ALCS where the Yanks got lucky and went on to win the World Series. Breaks like those really swing the momentum of the series and it should be limited as best as possible.
I totally understand that; it lets the experience be more natural. I have thought of doing that way but nothing has come from the thinking of the thoughts in my thought processor.
haha it sounds like it. I haven't been following anything about FFXIII or any square games for that matter. The way I do it nowadays is when the game comes out, I'll pick it up. I hate learning all about them before I actually play them now.
Didn't play Munchkins, the board game, because my friends it was too "late". The game does take some time to play but I believe if the BS is cut then it will be a lot shorter. College has been taking a lot of my time as has work. While I was at my friend's place a hermaphrodite and nipple exposure with Square games came up. He was saying Square was a hot topic because of the two - the hermaphrodite from Nier Replicant and the nipple exposure in Final Fantasy XIII and it wasn't about Snowe's nipples but a female's, suspicioulsy her face could not be seen. Anyways I looked it up went I got home and found the backstory to the hermaphrodite (demon cursed her as a child and she grew a penis) and the nipple exposure was not from FF XIII but the hermaphrodite in Nier Replicant; the idiocy of the internet decided to put "Final Fantasy XIII nipple" as the tag, at least on google images. It was stupid lameness overall.
Hahaha yeah, it's essentially the same thing as spicy brown, but it just looks authentic. how's everything else been going?
Yeeeeeeah, I'm pretty sure we don't have that. That's what happens when you move away from NY
