Sometimes, I just think they're saying the lyrics, since their voices become so monotonous. =| Ha, the only Japanese song that I ever liked, I think, is Suteki Da Ne, but even so, that's a video game theme song, not one of those "world" ones. The one thing that I think is not so good about them is... they're all so quiet that I often have to turn up the volume by a ton just to hear the words. xD
I used to listen rap music, not anymore. I still listen some older songs but not often though. I can't stand this new rap, it's just like you said, really annoying. I like Gothic Rock the most, bands like Nightwish and Within Temptation, the best thing is that they're really similar to Evanescence, almost the same genre. Except that I also listen to crossover (Linkin Park, P.O.D.), "normal" rock (3 Doors Down, Nickelback, RHCP...), I like other genres but these the most and for anime fanatic I rarely find a Japanese song that I like. Calm and relaxing music is also nice, in fact I love it especially some sad ballads. I usually listen to that when I go to sleep.
I think I saw that bit about how they were a Christian Rock band the other day. I couldn't believe that. They sure changed quickly, though. =P Still, I haven't heard any of those songs yet; maybe I'll listen to one and compare it. xD Well, I can tell you that I hate rap the most. It's very annoying. And also, the loud, screaming stuff. Oo Usually, anything that's sad or calming, I'll like. But I'll listen to any kind of music, except for the ones I mentioned that I disliked, of course. I must agree, I usually like that kind of music and because of it they're my favorite band. You know they were a Christian Rock band before the became famous, I have few of their songs from that time and compared to the new ones the style is totally different, also kinda weird. Anyway, except Evanescence what other artist do you listen, what music genre do you normally prefer?
Yeah, I was surprised when I first heard it, too. Evanescence usually has the really epic, dark songs. It worked really effectively, though. 8] Still, their other songs are great. Bring Me To Life, Call Me When You're Sober, Going Under, Lithium, et cetera. =D
The song is amazing indeed, who would tough that such ballade comes from Evanescence.

Well, yes they are. Actually the whole Southern America is obsessed with soccer, I mean they literally live for it and needless to say they often go a little overboard with their obsession although Europe is close behind them.
