Watch the speed run, 8 hours and 35 minutes some lady beat it. Also FFIX is MY FF game, I've played it way to many times. You have to save a lot and reload saves a lot to avoid random battles.
how the **** is it possible to beat FFIX in under 12 hours? The random battles take like 5 minutes a piece, lol. And how'd you manage to beat it in 15? holy shite lol
