I really haven't been keeping on top of new music this year. I generally just wait until 'best of' lists emerge from professional critics. I'm also just waiting for the new Bloc Party album. The single is here. I'm excited. You could also buy Alisyn's album. I'm still waiting for mine to sail halfway around the world.

Boise sounds like "Boy-zee." And cool cities, eh? Hm... I really don't think there's anything remarkable there. There's cool shops and rodeos in Sisters (In a small town kinda way.) There's an Abbey at Mt. Angel (and the Oktoberfest if you came in September). If you came before September this year, you could harass me, and I could show you around the place. Probably the Willamette Valley, or possibly further. Although I might rape you, so watch out. But hrm... I don't really know about cool cities.
Hmm. I'm not really into all that outdoors stuff. I get enough of that here. I just really want to see some cool cities. That's my bent. Does Boise rhyme with 'noise', or am I saying it wrong? 'Cos like it could be more of a 'bwazz' if it's French.
Well, y'know, there's not really a lot in that area. It's kind of a lot of flatland there. If you wanna go somewhere nice in Idaho, I'd suggest Coeur d'Alene and northern Idaho. Supposed to be good camping, and there's a huge lake there. Also in the Northwest, I'd suggest the Oregon Coast (Newport, Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, Tilamook, Astoria, etc) Sisters and Bend in the mountains, and Eugene and Portland for the cities. Corvallis is kinda nice too, but it isn't very big and there might not be a lot to do here (actually I live in Albany, where there's even less. Although everything is nice to look at, for the most part.) *nod nod*
