My favourites would be Ramones: Pet Sematary, Blitzkrieg Bop The Clash: I Fought the Law Iggy Pop: I Wanna Be Your Dog I'm not going to give more titles cause you'll probably not want to listen to punk songs for half an hour. And I don't really like the Sex Pistols so I'm not including any of them. Just 'cause. The punk bands had a major influence on rock music. Just like The Beatles. The chords, the rythms, the DIY attitude. It might sound like 'simple' music, which it basicly is, but it was new back then. Nowadays, there's just so much music that doesn't do anything new. Such a shame. I hate it when people say things like 'but The Beatles were melodic, beautiful sounding songs too, why don't you like my emo crap?'
I guess you could say I never got into a punk era of music, mainly because it's pretty much unknown to me and I wouldn't have the slightest idea on any of it, lol. What are some good songs of famous punk bands? I'd be interested into giving it a listen.

I'll check those songs out somewhere today or tomorrow, but I'm currently in this punk craze. The Ramones and The Clash mainly. I never liked the 'cool' Sex Pistols. And Iggy of course, the godfather of Punk. Are you into guitar music?
