I'm just as bad, so no worries. Really? Hamsters are nearly blind? For some reason, that makes them seem more cute. It gives them an excuse for the biting thing...half the time. They're still pretty VICIOUS when you annoy them. Fine enough. School is almost over, and I'm grateful. ^^
Sorry for the late reply! Been a bit busy lately. I think hamster bites are pretty cute. Sometimes they just do it because they want you to pay more attention to them... And because they're almost blind. They bite to check whether you're food or not. I'm okay, thanks. How are you?

Hmm, I don't think they look like bunnies. Cuter than bunnies. >_> They walk very similar to bears in a way, though. I should get you a video of Jari half asleep walking around so that you can see what I mean.
Really? I never noticed. I always thought they look kind of like really tiny bunnies. The way their front paws move mostly...and their faces.
I love bears. I think they're really cute. And if you look at a hamster from above or behind, they look like tiny bears because of how they walk and how furry they are.

I'd say they're more like very small bears. Although hamsters can eat non-sticky dog buiscuits...

Aye, haha, it's similar to Hamtaro in really likfe, except when they don't yet trust you and bite the crap out of your fingers and hand. Although it's not too hard to tame them as long as they weren't abused or mistreated before you got them.
Oh...well, next hamsters you get, you can always give it a try.They're all so sweet and carefree on Hamtaro....
I can't pair him up with another hamster because they're territorial creatures... so they'd fight with each other, which could be fatal. The only way you can pair hamsters, is if you have them from a very early age... And even then it doesn't always work out.
Aww...that's so cute. Why not buy another hamster for Jari to play with then? There might be more things to watch at once.
Hahaha, yeah, they're very cute. When I first saw Jari at the pet store playing with the mother hamster (Sari), it was one of the cutest things I ever saw, and I bought them both since they seemed like such excellent playmates. It was similar at home... they'd often get into the wheel run different ways, and his mum would stand on him when he was asleep to wake him up... It's a shame she had to die. Jari paced the cage waiting for her for a few days. It broke my heart. But then I started to pick him up and play with him and he learnt to be happy again.
Sorry us n00bs aren't that interesting. We'll try to ante it up a bit. They are kind of cute though...so long as the hamster is inside a cage and I'm outside. I once spent twenty minutes staring at a cage of them at a pet shop. Surprising how a little rodent thing can keep someone's attention for so long.
