  1. Well no one really knows what would happen, but that is why it is a comedy. Whatever is going to happen is going to be dramatic and hilarious to watch.

Your hunch would be correct. There are still some main characters you haven't meant yet. And I believe I'm bordering on 90 character profiles right now. I have profiles for main character family members. Everyone of the Hayashi's has a background, especially his parents. I'm thorough, if not overly so.

Well I take time when I do reviews. I usually like to read and digest and think then come back and review. Length also is a factor on the review, since longer ones have more things I can talk about than something shorter. But I've written reviews that almost exceed the character limit in FictionPress. So I always provide something. If you want everything, then I'll be even more thorough. Since my reviews vary depending on what the writer wants out of it.
  2. Probably doesn't need to be said, but the female body isn't really my department >.> So I can't imagine any guy going through that. Still curious how it'll play out, though.

So far everything's good about it, so I can believe that. I don't always come out of my comfort zone when it comes to finding things to watch or read, and yet you got me into this. I'll let you know later who my favorite character is. I just have a hunch there's some that haven't been introduced yet.

I would be really, really, really grateful if you did. As far as feedback goes, you don't have to hold back. I just ask to make time for it if you think there'll be a lot. I just hate to take time away from your schedule. Especially since, the way I see it anyway, my writing's - what's the word? - inferior compared to yours. So I'm a little nervous about hearing your review, but I'd also be honored. *loud heartbeat*
  3. Yeah, I how I handle him in the second season will still be something I need to completely figure out. Considering that he is an adult mind in a child's body, it'll be more difficult for him to switch. Plus, it is a child, which clothing aside, remain gender neutral for a while. It won't be until he really hits puberty that he'll have to deal with female hormones and mindset really playing havok with him.

I think you'll enjoy Shift a lot, especially since you like things like Saint Seiya. There will be more stuff in the future you'll hit that will probably really get you excited. One thing I always like asking is who the favorite character is after they have finished chapter 45 and after chapter 85. So you'll have to let me know who your's are.

Yeah, I saw you posting more. If you want me to look at it I will, but if you want feedback you'll need to tell me how much and what you want. Because when I review I'm thorough and cover all aspects. I'm tactful, but I'll tell you there things are weird.
  4. It's really something I can't wait for. What I'm wondering now is if his own mind would also go through an aging process of sorts. Would he behave more like a girl as time went on, and not because he has to but because it came naturally? Or would his mind just age like an ordinary guy? Something to think about.

So far, I think Shift is excellent. I was about to stop for the night until I saw Saki after Yuki told Hiroshi his past. Not seeing her for a while, I decided to keep reading and........well, you know where I'm at now. I'm still wondering what sorcery this is >.> But the story is so well done. And there's still over 150 chapters to go through. So much stuff to look forward to. It may become one of my favorite things to read

As you may/may not have seen, I've posted all the chapters I've written for my story. I just recently finished Chapter Nine, the first chapter of the second season. Impatience appears to be a problem but it's more like I want to show off what's on my mind now. And yet....my skills in writing dialogue and location details are decent at best. Any tips you can give regarding this matter? Any help is appreciated, but don't feel you're obligated to. m^_^m
  5. Yeah, the second season is going to address more issues with his body and him growing more into a girl. Because he's still very much stuck in the mind set of being a man, I plan on playing with that change he'll have of slipping into a female mind set. If this was Japanese he'd be saying "ore" or "boku" a lot, something in a girl that can be considered cute or tomboyish. But if he starting with "atashi" or even "watashi" there'd be a pretty big sort of realization in audience and characters that there a shift.
  6. I kinda figured that's why you didn't like him. And I did like the change. And once you get the time for a second season, I'd like to see where it leads him.
  7. Well at the start he was a womanizing playboy with no redeeming qualities at all. So I couldn't stand him at all because of that. I really hate that type of person, he was very self-centered. But it did make for a good show of change with things. And he is a significantly better person at the end.
  8. He was a changed man at the end, and one can see why once he looks at the amount of hell Chiko went through. I'm still partially surprised you couldn't stand him, but I suppose we can't like all of our characters.
  9. It only lasted for the first few pages. Once he was hospitalized, things improved and by the end he was in the body of a kid. So the aspects that I hated about him were no longer present. But it was difficult to write the first couple of pages because I couldn't stand him.
  10. I don't think you told me, and honestly I'm only a little surprised...given how he was and continued to be the way he was at the beginning. Obviously, something kept you from leaving the story. What was it?
  11. Yeah, I left the more in-depth commentary for chapter elsewhere. But I never managed to actually keep it up, especially since I wrote them so long ago. But I think I did talk more about my inspiration and what not in those.

Speaking of not liking stuff, did I tell you that I hated Chiko when I first created him? I didn't think I was going to be write the rest of The Inner Man because I hated him so much.
  12. It's nice knowing more about the authors. Speaking of Raiku again, the people I have gotten into Zatch Bell were thrown off by the art style. But thanks to his section, they knew right away that he didn't like it much either (at first at least) but had to go with it anyway.

Some people might even be curious of what elements your characters, places, etc. are based on. I find it fun, at least. ^^
  13. Yeah, most authors will have comments at the end of their tankobon or even each chapter depending on the individual. It gives a little more insight into the author usually and sometimes the story. Usually, just the author though.
  14. Not sure how I would comment on the Comments Thread at this time. Could have read more but I'm drowsy right now. Hm, drowsy. Drowzee. Maybe if I pick him as my Psychic for the Little Cup...

Oh, right. ^^ I just wanted to say, as you may know by now, that writing can be a learning process for both the author and the audience. I recall reading the Zatch Bell! manga years ago, at the point where Zatch and Kiyo had made their trip to England. The author, the almighty Makoto Raiku, made a trip to England at that time and.....you guessed it! There were things that he learned. Perhaps more than he pointed out. I know the comment is about four years old now, but don't ever feel dumb for not knowing something. It's part of a learning process

Oh yeah. The reason I know this is because the author had his own section at the end of each volume. He's even had contests ^^'
  15. Got it. I'll get to them, tomorrow morning a the latest
