I have to say, I agree. Its a tried and true formula that works. Yeah, I suppose we'd be spitting on his grave to steal his ideas without permission. I'm really the only one? ._. That's a good idea, inspiration can come from anything.
I prefer Meigumi's idea, It sounds more planed and easier to Role-Play with, Im still hooked up with this demon-thing, But yeah, I say 2nd, What would you say? Rhap's idea was alittle to quickly thought out, So things might not go so well, Besides... Since he isn't in the group any longer, It wouldn't be right to use his idea, And i don't currently have any ideas, I was busy with everything else... But i will of course answer any questions you OR others might have, But i think you'll only be the one making questions. :x Now, Im going to RE-play my video-games again, I must get something new, I am planing on buying Golden Sun on the net, Will be so awesome... I just have to suffer 72 Hours before it is buyed...
Well, here's a refresher course for what we have so far... Rhapso thought up us as street rats who fight for being royalty. Slightly flawed in that why do we just randomly want to become royalty, and how is Dimitri going to play into that? Meigumi thought up a dramatic tale of romance, determination, friendship, and saving the world from an imminent threat. Generic, yes, but effective. FFVI did this well, and even had a kickass villain to boot. Dimitri can easily fit here as either a revenge-driven goal, a tortured past he seeks to escape, or just generally being a douchebag for the lolz of it. So far, which one do you perfer?
Heh, Everything is not leveling up, We are going to need MASSIVE BRAINSTORMZZZZ... And alot of headache...
Then I'll probably be extremely powerful by the time I get to the final battle. (I do enjoy power. =D) It's a bit disheartening, too... Maybe they're REALLY into their jobs? I'll help you out as much as I can.
Of course there are ways of getting stronger without leveling, The players will surely start hunting items that Pernamently increases their stats, Such as HP Boost or STR Boost's... Maybe others like SPD Boost or RUN Boost, The names isn't completed, Usually, I like to call these items "Seeds", But Dragon Quest has it already... Right, I'll nurf it so it only stuns one turn, instead of two. And i am not liking the lack of activity here. Oh well, They'll come back once everything is ready, They expect ME to do all the work. >_<
So... about the final boss. Is the final product that difficult? If so, are there methods of getting stronger as we go through the game? At the very least, nurf that time seal thingie. Destroyed me several times.
I was lazy making the stages, They're alot harder to make decent area's than the skills, I only maked a few stages, And yeah... We REALLY need to continue, It's almost ready...
But the coliseum theme seemed somewhat out of place for the dungeon and tavern. Regardless, now I want to start ideas on the plot and put music where it should go! Yes, I'll do that. I'll probably borrow an idea or two that have been discussed before, as well as offer a few other suggestions. The time for the plot is now, now that most of the other works are underway and nearing beta.

Hard to believe its just a normal battle theme. o__O (I looked at the list, too.) Sounds like either a final battle or against an enemy or ally who has arisen to great power, far beyond their control. So, it actually fits quite well!

It got a laugh out of me. BTW, that final battle music on Shira Dimitri was eargasm, so you should definitely use it in the final product. That Gen si song.
