  1. All I can do is try to catch up in the meantime. I'm glad you're deeply involved.

I totally wasn't expecting the dragon on the chapter I read yesterday. 24, I think.
  2. You'll see it. Then we can talk about it. The benefit of it now, is that I'm still knee deep in it. Even four years later, I'm deeply involved with it. So my memory and experiences of it are significantly more clear than the other stories. Plus, it's not complete. So I do still have to withhold what I haven't written yet, but planned for already.
  3. I really want to see. But I'll catch up eventually. Nothing bad lasts forever, after all
  4. Well it'll be fine either way. When you're free you can read to your heart's content. And then you will see that you're catching up. And you'll see all of the stuff I'm working on right now that I'm withholding from discussing with you.

It is all about pacing. Just keep the big picture in mind.
  5. Obviously not too much. I'd hate to reveal spoilers unintentionally but hopefully I'll be focused enough to prevent that from happening.

That's about right. I just wish I could have started reading sooner so the process wouldn't take so long.
  6. Well keep things paced. Revealing is good and it is not always a bad thing to reveal a small piece of something early. It is all about how you want to pace.

If you end up reading more on your days off, then yes you would able to get through it a lot faster.
  7. 93 chapters for the entire first arc if I'm not mistaken, so I was expecting a lot of things out of it anyway. ;p Then there's that invisible force that drives me into a reading session so it may take much less than 70 days to be done with it >.<

You gave me a great idea a while back. I took the liberty to make characters profiles for current and upcoming characters and I am already done with the short versions for the main cast. I can't stress enough just how much I want to reveal, but I'll take your advice on being patient with things.
  8. There is a lot of stuff to reveal. The entire second arc is several big reveals drawn out over the entire arc. But you have a lot of stuff still to see before you get there. The first arc has a lot of things going on. So you can see how it goes.
  9. I do. I already have so much planned out and definitely treading lightly about it. Once the final draft is out, the only things I'll be able to correct are grammar errors.

Still a lot to reveal, huh? Well, I shouldn't expect less from you at this point. I'm already impressed so I'll be delighted to read more about it when the time comes.
  10. A start and an end is good places to start. It is difficult to know where you're going if you don't the direction of things. But if you have that much worked out, it sounds like you have a good plan going.

I haven't even scratched the surface of Yuki's past. You only know one tiny detail. You've still got more things to learn even if what I've written thus far. And some very emotional stuff too.
  11. So far, I've managed to plan five story arcs so it'll definitely be short compared to many other stories out there. There's the possibility that there'll be more, but usually what I do is plan a beginning and an end, and find a way to connect those two together in a way that actually makes sense. So I'll find out in time. There is so much I definitely want to show off.

I'm not surprised. You've already done so much just by revealing Yuki's past.
  12. Yeah that is why planning is a good thing. Planning things out allow you to know where things should be based on what you want to do in the future. It'll let you see things at a bigger picture. So you know what will work. It is not easy, but it helps out a lot.

For Shift, so much of it is character driven rather than solely plot driven. So I have to figure out how the characters move the story. It also helps me develop new plots for it.
  13. It really is. Right now, I'm struggling to come up with chapters much later into the future, based on what's already happened. Adding the wrong thing now would later come back to haunt me. In writing, I believe they call it a "writer's trap".

That would be wonderful. No need to worry about me nagging you for an answer so take your time :3
  14. Yeah, I needed some of the characters fleshed out so I can build in plot seeds for the future. There are things in the story now that won't bare fruit for hundreds of chapters. So forward planning is important.

When I get sometime I'll be sure to do what I can.
  15. 90 character profiles? You sure are thorough! o.o And you've been at it for four years. I guess that explains it

In that case, tell me everything you can. ^^ What I need more, what I could go without, and I'm even open to criticism. Of course, telling me what you like/didn't like helps too. ;p
