umm... i've read it, but i'm not a big fan of the mother vocals. maybe the one for pollyanna and the M3 love theme but thats about it really. this really creeped me out EDIT: the background song mainly
Speaking of music from the Mother games, have you seen that one thread about Mother Vocal? After reading that thread, I went and DL'ed a bunch of the songs for my iPod. I like a good majority of 'em too.
yeah you said that, if you do though, just watch like a speedrun or something of the game because theres no point in watching it in a normal pace. At least you're saving yourself the trouble of attempting to beat the game lol. It was pretty fun though despite some of the challenges involved. Just to let you know there are Mother 1 references in Mother 3, I'll leave it to you to find out where though. Been listening to the Mother 1+2 GBA soundtrack right now, some of the songs are terrible sounding while others are still good and theres some unused music as well, i even stumbled across some unused mother 3 music too. heres the first one YouTube - Mother 1 + 2 music : Unused Track and heres the M3 one. Sounds like a blast. I think I mentioned this before, but I think I'll just watch an LP of that game one of these days. I don't really want to DL a NES emulator just to play it.
I'll let you know right now that Mother 1/EarthBound Zero is the HARDEST mother game in the trilogy. Battles come at random, some of the enemies give you asthma attacks which make it impossible for your character to attack, and most of the enemies you really have to level up to even stand a chance against.
Oh, definitely Mother 3, but I think it's really only because it's hard to get the rhythm battle system perfected on emulation. I hear that it's easier if you actually have the game. Earthbound isn't easy either, but I think it's a bit easier than Mother 3. Haven't played Earthbound Zero/Mother yet, so I can't really say anything about that.
that game was pretty fun, i tried the demo of it. i don't think i'd actually buy it, might gamefly it instead or something. Which Mother/EarthBound game do you find the hardest out of the ones you played?
Yeah, I bet it is. Trouble for me though, my PS3 and Wii won't pick up that I have an internet signal, even though my computer finds it just fine... :/ So, no co-op for me. And yeah, I'm still on Chapter 7. Gotta finish that game soon, but I had the urge to play Batman: Arkham Asylum again.
its pretty fun, as you already know by now the 5th one has co-op so you and either the cpu or another person can play together. As for Mother 3, are you still on the beginning of chapter 7? i made some amazing progress yesterday, wolfed down 2 chapters and now i'm at the beginning of chapter 4. Chapter 2 was unusually hard this playthrough for me, died more than i did last time and had a hard time with the boss. I seem to be having more trouble with the sound combos but i'll get better with them eventually...i hope lol
Nope. Haven't played it. Played a bit of 4 though, and it was fun. I was just borrowing it, so I don't have it anymore.
