Dude, don't say anything about the ending... Now I know it has a shocking ending... And Animal Farm is 100% criticism on the USSR. But what has being a socialist to do with the USSR?

My bother claims it's Orwell criticising the USSR of his time, as well as the Russian Revolution, but Orwell is clearly a Socialist, so it can only be a criticsim of what happened after, right?
Indeed. Quite obvious. I'm currently reading Orwell's '1984'. It's more about society than about "man". It's a really great book. So far.
