Yeah. The premise behind the universe is an alternate history of reality. The first two games take place during the 1910s, the second game takes place during WWI. The first two games are pretty dark whilst the third game is much lighter. All games are pretty funny has they have certain characters that add a lot of humor.
I never played those series, are they any good?
I wish XSEED would make Shadow Hearts 4.
The next Ys game that will come out ater OiF is Ys I&II Chronicles. That comes out next year. There may be some more Ys games that will come to PSP. XSEED expressed interest in bringing Ys IV and V to psp which I hope happens. Falcom just needs to give them permission to localize them.
Which entry is the last PSP Ys game going to be? Also, I just read an article over at vgchartz about SE apologizing for Final Fantasy XIV. That game has garnered harsh criticism and I'm thinking that they probably should shut down servers, work on the game, and re-release. They gave another free month of subscription after the first free month was expiring because so many people were going to quit. Now with an extra free month the logic is: that those people will stay on for another month - it's free why not - and SE will be able to patch the game up. I hear that there is going to be a big patch in November and December. I was thinking about getting the game for the PS3 and I may still, though I'll have to check out how the game is going at the time. If not, I may just pick up FFXI because I've always wanted to know the story for that game.
Yeah it comes out in November. Ys Oath in Felghana is a 3D remake of Ys III and you can run around instead of just going back and forth. The premium edition comes with a soundtrack CD of the game. After that theres one more psp Ys game on the way
Nothing much. Waiting for Survive Norfolk later today. I may work on 4 Heroes of Light or my FFXII file. I was discussing with my friend last night how it is a little funny that there is no time clock in 4 Heroes of Light. Perhaps there will be a NPC that will tell how long I've played but so far, I have not encountered such a person. Isn't Ys III coming out soon for the PSP? I saw a Ys game - special edition box - on the gamestop website.
Sup zarg, whats been going on? i recently beat Ys Seven which i put off for a really long time and the final boss was a bit rough but i made it. I was up against the Root Of All Existence. I'm now working on Birth By Sleep which I rented.

It would have been sweet if Cid from FFII was a playable character in the Souls of Rebirth edition. He was once Fynn's White Knight then turned into an airship engineer. lol
