I think you're right. I did some looking on their site, and according to them, the director REALLY wants to keep going. He said "I hope we never halt our journey into the Star Ocean."
No, of course not. The Last Hope was released on February 24, 2009. besides, I saw the advertisement for it five months before it even came out. And that's still pretty recent. There has to be a five!

They can't do that! The groups can not be destroyed unless they have an actual reason, like if I did something illegal in there.
