I made this, but sadly, I can't use it, as GIF images when used on forums give a strange white, pixelated background. Maybe I should start making rectangular banners now to use animated text? xD
Make it a solid color. One that stands out from the background. Maybe a deep blue or something. Blue has a great contrast against orange. As for where, just try different places and see how everything looks. Good luck!
Yep, I will be adding text. But I can't think of where. And I was wondering if I should make it a solid color or borrow the background's design for it. Actually, I found that on Google. xD But I had to fill in the thirteen stars with pictures myself; that was the hard part.
I agree. I think the background looks great in this one. I also like how you incorporated other characters from FF XIII into it. Are you planning on adding anything else, like text? I bet that star pattern did take quite a while to get just right, but I think it looks really good. I'm not too sure if I like everything just right in the center like that. I'm a much bigger fan of designs that are either a bit off-center or start at one side or the other. I like it so far. The stars get bigger as your eyes go around the radial design in the center. I think that was a nice touch. It gives the banner the illusion that there is depth.

I wish the avatar size was more than 125 x 125. =P My picture's a bit... small. << And if it goes over the size, the transparency stops working and becomes white instead. >.< Of course I'll make it! Why, I'll even add in a countdown to Final Fantasy XIII to show my dedication!
Haha. Well I like it, and you're right! It looks great against TFF Dark! I'll be counting sir. You better do better on this promise to yourself than VMM did with his "Kingdom Hearts banner for three months" plan. He didn't make it.
I am going to use it for at least 115 days, until Final Fantasy XIII comes out. =D I'm obsessed with Hope at the time. ^^; Too bad transparency doesn't work on profiles, though. =| And resizing was easy: all I had to do was create it as big as I needed to then type in 125 x 125 in the resizer. =P
I noticed that your avvy changed when I logged on a few minutes ago. I like it! Also, good on you to make the file size small enough to where you can actually use it! It's got good composition and I like how you did your name. Are you going to have this one for a while?

I like it. I still think that the faces in the background need to be a bit more in focus, but I'm glad the face on the right isn't being stabbed in the eyes anymore by that effect! The font has a bit of issues now though... I think you should outline it in that blue color that some of the letters have so it will not seem to blend in with the background so much. Other than that, good job!
It took some rough covering up because I had already merged those two layers, but here's what I came up with.
I see that you added some pictures of his face to the background. I think that was a nice touch, and it took care of the problem of having too much empty space in the right side. However, the faces may be a bit too transparent. Is there a way to put them in more focus? Not too much though. Just enough to where you can still see some of the background. Also, I like the font and the text looks fine to me (I don't really see where you think it rough), but I'm not feeling the effect that is going on behind it (the one that looks like it's coming from his weapon). It looks like it's stabbing the face on the far right in the eyes. Other than those things I mentioned, I think this is another great banner! Heh... This is the second draft of this VM. The first one didn't go through... I can't remember everything I typed in it either... Weird.
Wow, I've never played a game that long. xD Yeah, it's definitely not Till the End of Time. I hear that the game is pretty cheap nowadays if you manage to find a copy. His eyes aren't red, either, I don't think. I've concluded that there are almost no albinos at all in RPG's. =P If there is, I haven't found one yet. Yup, yup! =D Plus, you can determine how long you need to attack for and when to run away to avoid damage. In a sense, it's easier, but since the battle is always going on, it's harder, too! I just love it. =D Wait, I just Googled it and I read that it's almost half-half. Eternal Sonata had a half-real, half-turn battle system, and it was absolutely brilliant! That and Item Creation. You get to create your own weapons, armor, items, accessories, and all that in Star Ocean. In fact, the most powerful ones are usually created using the rarest of items. ;] That wasn't the complete one, though. xD It was just an update. =P Here's how I ended it, but do you have any suggestions? I noticed that the text is a bit rough, but I can't fix that. =| At least, I tried but failed. xD
