I don't blame blame you for feeling claustrophobic in a place that small. The good things about small rooms is they don't take long to heat up in the winter and they are supposed to be easier to keep clean....or so im told, but i use to have a small room and i could never keep it clean
Erm... Depends. My room is small, but I'm used to it. I have my window open all year round on the lock, so it stays cool in here. My school went on a trip to St Pauls Cathedral once, and we went to the top. I endded up panicing on the stair wells on the way back down... because I was at the back of the line and everyone was taking too long going down the stairs... Seriously though, the hall ways are about 1/2 a meter wide, and in some places the ceiling touches your head... O_O
You just gotta keep shuffling things about til you get it It must be horrible to suffer from claustrophobia, do you get it very bad?
Ha, I've had a few ideas, but the only prob I can find is that if I move the wardrobe by my door, the entrace will be too narrow, and I got claustrophobia...
Lol thts what i do , re-arrange everything so i look right, i get fussy,
Lolz, that would look good, but my bed head is under the window... To be honest, my room is so small, it can't go anywhere else. Unless I did a MAJOR swap around of everything...
My dad calls it 'the master wall' basically, the wall that will stand out the most, the wall the head of the bed is against or the 1st wall you see when you go into your room, My master wall is the wall straight ahead but i also have my bed come from that wall to, its really up to you what wall you choose
Thats a great idea lol! Only problemo is I don't know which wall... My wardrob is MASSIVE, the posters are pretty big, and I wouldn't be able to see the colour... AND my room is funny shaped cos the chimney goes up through one corner...
If you want dark red, you can do one wall that colour and do the rest of the walls in magnolia cos that way it makes the room look bigger but it also gives it some colour, i used that technique in my room and living room, my dad is a painter and decorator and he does that style for alot of people, he was the one who told me its best to do it that way
Painting is fun lolz! I really wanted like a dark red colour, but my room is too small for a dark colour... So... I'm gonna have to settle for something like a light blue, or lilac...
lol, you can get some really nice wallpaper now, but its more fun to paint
Yay! Now all need to do is pick a colour for my walls... The wall paper is totally degrading... seriously, baby wallpaper tastes in my mums day were terrible!
Maybe, the backing is quite thick, my lil girl has light pink curtains and it blocks out the light really well, so you white should work.
Thing is, I can't have a dark colour - gotta have white, but I don't know if that would work as much...
I got blackout curtains in my girls room, they work really well, and it makes sure shes not up at 6.30am
