Mics aren't that pricey...at least I don't think they are. ^^; I'll have to check on that sometime. Metal Gear Solid has an online game, though admittedly, I don't know much about it. I could read that link I...linked...but I'm lazy right now... Plus, I have to catch up on a playthrough of Uncharted 3~! Holy shite this game is so awesome so far. Methinks Sully is quite a silver fox too. x3 Haha... Yeah, I think games like that would cause the tempers to flare up quite often. ^^; With all the advancements in online gaming, I'm surprised that cross-game chat really hasn't been implemented yet... I suppose there's things like Skype you can do, but it'd be a little distracting having to pay attention to two setups like that. I got used to it pretty quickly. In fact, I pretty much grew up around smokers, so I didn't really think too much about it. Only when riding in a car and the smoke blew in my face did I have any real complaints about it. I was quite thankful when she decided to quit though. Ahaha... No, no no... I'm not crazy enough to actually lick one. You don't have to apologize. ^^ But yeah, I get what you're saying about people not treating something like that with a modicum of respect. I suppose it does seem silly from an outside perspective. I only watched half of the newer Willy Wonka movie. I got kind of bored watching it. ^^; I don't know why, because it seemed like it had an interesting style going on, but I just wasn't into it. I didn't get into Mr. Burton's Alice in Wonderland movie either. :/ Well, it is a pretty special one. 16 years~ I wonder if his culture does special things for birthdays like that? I got a fairly big party that year, and a car. ^^ Good times. Now, birthdays are pretty much just another day for me. Funny how things seem to change when you get older.. I love the random nature of the journal/comic, and the surrealistic nature of her sketchy style. My favorites are the God of Cakes, The Scariest Story, and the spiel about the "Alot". Her newest entry is a little worrisome though... I dunno if you read it yet, but she wrote about being in a pretty deep depressive state.

Sometimes I sit and talk to myself if a friend doesn't have a mic, but then it feels like an awkward silence if I pause after making a bad joke. Shame Metal Gear is offline only, so no comments on how..um.."sexy" Ocelot is. Unless we pretend he is there in another game. I hope they add cross-game chat to the PS3 one of these days. It's mostly fighting games only on the PS3 that let you voice chat whilst playing. Which is strange becuase those are ones you don't need it for, and one of the most likely genre that abuse will get yelled at you. That's totally understandable. I hope you find the nerve, though. I'd love to play a game together, and just banter back and forth to each other about silly stuff. ^^ That sounds like it'd be really fun~ I suppose it's true what they say: "You never know until you try." It's working up the nerve to actually ask that's so tough. My mom smoked for a long, looooong time, and had ashtrays everywhere in the house. I never licked one, but the smell was so strong that you could practically taste it anyway. Huuuurrrrrrgfffff Yeah, the U.S. is all about that independence stuff. Not that I mind, since it adds another fun holiday to our year. ^^ Pizza, eh? :3 I love pizza. Never tried to make one myself though. I never minded it, and it disappears after a while anyway (when you're riding in the field, at least) so it's not a huge, huge distraction. I'm sure a lot more people would have complained if it just stayed the same opacity all the time. ^^;

In Japan it comes with a DLC token for the first game, but we get Peace Walker with our collection, so it's not too bad. Most collections are PS2 games only. I think that the Gamecube is the most complete version, isn't it? So that is a good idea. It definitely has better graphics! Oh, wow. Well, that's just silly... How is it a collection if they don't package the first game? Meh, it's all good. I can always try and find a copy of the gamecube version or something, and play it in my Wii. :3 I think it'd be rather hard to find the original PS version. Yeah, better to just use public transport (or my own two legs) if I need to get anywhere. ^^

It was ladies' night, so all the ladies in the house got ten bucks in credit when they entered in the door, so technically I didn't lose anything. Plus, the casino had a really amazing food buffet. Might go back one of these days just to eat. xDDD As for lottery tickets, I've never done those at all, but I see them for sale all the time at gas stations in Oklahoma (the state that borders the one that I live in). Oh, so feeding cake makes it harder for the enemy to take your princess. I gotcha. ^^ I know that ICO had a rough start, but I thought SotC was a pretty big hit for them (sell-wise and creative-wise as well). Well, they did good enough to warrant a rerelease for the PS3, so now those that missed those games the first time around can experience them.

Seem to remember him saying something like the creature is supposed to be kind of dog-like/pet like becuase people love animals/pets and he wants the game to appeal to a wider audience. I don't remember his exact words, but it was something tot hat effect. I think he crazy. The game didn't sell well becuase it's something a bit "different" and hardly action-packed. I dunno..what do you think?
Nah, level-grinding is a chore, but I hate losing important battles even more, so I grind to make sure my characters can just bully their way to victory. Yeah, old Snake is a little....yuck....for me too, but if you fulfill certain criteria in your first runthrough of MGS4, you get a mask that makes him look young again for your next playthrough. ^^ I still have to finish up my run of that game. I haven't even gotten to face any of the beauty and the beast corps yet. There's a lot of exposition to sit through though. :/ Wow... Four playthroughs. I guess it'll be worth it when you get your lovely platty! Never played the Ninja Gaiden games, but I notice several people say it's one of the most difficult platinum trophy to obtain. A game that hard will probably make me cry in frustration before I even beat it. Stealth games can be fun, I liked the predator mode in Arkham Asylum a lot, and it can be fun messing with enemy soldiers in the MGS games. ^^ Woo~! Thanks for the good wishes! Fortune here I come!
