I live in Québec. The French province... English isn't even an official language here... XD I don't know the most but I know that recently we broke our record with a whopping number...
We need REALLY HEAVY snow, too! D= And it's because I live in one of the snowiest places. T.T What's the most you've gotten where you live? Actually, what province do you live in, anyway?
Really? we need there to be at least 30" and for the road to be invisible because of fog. UNFAIR!
Ha, Australia will never get days off due to snow. xD Though, in some places here in the U.S., there's so little snow that even if one tiny speck falls, it's cancellation of school. ><
no, the amount of schools days is mandatory (I think its 182... or something like that) because one year there were so many snow days they had to cut some of the Ped days, to make up for the lost school days
I thought the amount of days you get off stay the same, but just the span of days is different?
yeah. I heard in Australia that they have school all year round, but they have many more Ped days than us, and that their Christmas break is longer...
To be honest, summer vacation kind of gets boring after the first couple of months or so. x3 You run out of things to do after a while, but I still won't prefer year-round school. =S
But that would probably mean having less PED days or a smaller Summer Vaction/ Christmas Break (they'd most likely shorten Summer Vacation though...)
I'm learning a BIT, but not that I want to. x3 And hey, that actually sounds like it'd be a good weekly schedule! =D Saturday is kind of dull, anyway, you know? And we get one less day of school, which is like a month off the whole school-year. Try pitching the idea around. ^_~
wow... that must suck... Well, at least you're learning (hopefully)... but too much school stresses someone out, its too much of a routine... hmmm, they should make school 4 days out of 7, and instead of having a weekend, they could have Mon, Tues school, Wed off, Thurs school, Friday off, Sat School, Sun off. (Sunday would have to be off, or else the Christians would get angry.)
*shakes head* I get no breaks in April that is longer than a day. X_X
not that kind of break. Like one for Easter. Cuz Easter is tomorrow...
We already got spring break, and that was two weeks ago. ='(
why don't you have any time off, isn't Easter an international Holiday?
