I just finished Chapter 94. Haha, I guess Ayumi's hobby explains why they're traveling on boat. And from what I've read on your Comments Thread, they should arrive at Antarctica in the next chapter. I would read more, but as you know, duty calls. I actually slacked off yesterday so hopefully I'll be able to do something ^^;
Well I look forward to seeing how well you do. There are plenty of chapters to read and a lot of fun stuff you have to look forward to reading. Some good reveals and secrets coming out.
Well, I don't want to check THAT far back. Too much of a hassle, you see ;p As far as reading goes, I'll try not to let curiosity get the best of me. I plan to read at least one chapter a day, and whatever happens, happens.
Yeah somewhere around there. You can probably check the VMs to see exactly when it started. But it is going to be totally up to you on how long it takes. I did tell you that once you get into the second arc there is not going to be anymore sub-arcs that are short like what you've been reading. So you may end up reading more because the cliffhangers I leave will only get worse from here on out. I'm glad you liked the fight. I had a lot of fun doing different things in it. You probably noticed that Yuki acted quite a bit differently there than he did in the first half of the arc. He continues that into the rest, though it really depends on who he is interacting with. He can get really chatty if the opponent is overconfident and likes to monologue or boast. Yuki takes advantage of his genre savvy nature and will get a really lively banter going, which is quite a bit different from how you're used to seeing him.
Well I have started reading more by Chapter 10, right? ._. But yes, I guess it's been quite a while so it'll probably take more than a month to catch up. The fight itself was one of the best, in my opinion. It was when we see Haruo's powers develop ^^
Yeah the fight with the punks went on for a pretty long time, longer than planned. Thankfully it was not repetitive, a lot of stuff happened. It just went longer than I wanted. The second arc currently has 5 chapters as the longest individual fight. Most fights resolve in 2-3 chapters. However, there are a lot more fights happening, but there are a lot of character focus too. I don't remember when you started, but it was a few months back I'm pretty sure since you started out by waiting a week at a time.
So I'm halfway done. How long has it been since I started reading? Three weeks? A month? So I probably have caught up by the end of next month ;p I can't wait to see all the fights, though I have a feeling they won't be as long as the fight against the group of punks. That was pretty long ;p
Wow you made it to the end of the first arc. Well Atlantis was mentioned in the pilot as well. But now you're all ready for the second arc. You have about 90 chapters left to, since I'm up to chapter 180. But Yuki's still on top huh? Yumi got bumped up. I'll be curious after chapter 170 if it has changed again. By then you get to see most of the fight at least a few times. So it should be interesting.
I'll probably reach the second arc tonight if not later on this week. The next sub-arc will probably keep me busy til then, so there's a good chance I'll get to that point soon. Update: Made it all the way. I just finished Chapter 93. I finally know the name of Ayumi's homeland, though looking at list of story arcs on one of your blog entries makes me feel a bit foolish for not making the realization sooner As far as favorite characters go, Yuki remains on top. However, since Yumi got more time in recent chapters, I have put her right above Saki ^^ But the different powers they have is a different story. I really like Haruo's power over anything else so far.
One more? When I'm not destroying the wall I'm often leaning against pretty closely. However, I step up my game in the second arc as you'll soon find out.
I wasn't expecting the fourth wall to break again, but I didn't think much damage was done. I'm guessing you've got it in you to do it one more time, at least. ;p
If you got through the whole sub-arc, then yeah there is a lot of chapters you got through. I think I said break the fourth wall quite a bit and end up destroying it eventually. There's quite a bit that happens there. And I do like Haruo's power quite a bit too. It works out well for his more passive approach to things.
I won't. I had planned to add my own touches so if anything it'll be more like an alternate timeline. There was so much to read. I even forgot at what chapter I started in but I didn't want to stop in the middle of the sub-arc ._. You broke the fourth wall more times than I could count and more characters are revealed to have powers.I just finished Chapter 85 and plan to leave it like that until later tonight. As an animal lover, I really did like Haruo's power.
Well the spin off series don't even really mention Yugi or anything from the first series. I think the most any of the shows have as a reference is GX and that is still pretty small. So you shouldn't be too concerned about it. I'll look forward to you reading more of it. Maybe you'll get through the next sub-arc.
What worried me the most was what people would think if they saw that nothing else would be referenced about the anime but I guess I'll find that out as I go on. I do plan on adding anime-only cards, though. Definitely Guardian Dreadscythe, the undead form of Guardian Eatos seen during the Waking the Dragons arc of the original anime. Hearing it from you, it just makes me glad not everyone expects me to keep it PG ^^ I'll definitely read Shift tonight, though. Writing that chapter was the hardest part of the day.
