  1. It really depends on the job. Since I've been getting an insufficient amount of sleep at home, I really couldn't stay awake (I even had a tea to try to keep myself awake. Once a tea doesn't help, I just give in). Also I was the only one in the office most of the morning, I thought I would take advantage of it. I wasn't in the mood to go to the gates this morning (Watch planes/departures).

Aye, you are right about that, but further research shows that you can take less time, but it depends on the circumstances. I've been in need of a lucid dream. Surprisingly, I had one at work without realizing it. It was enlightening and made me feel better.
  2. That's a long time to be awake. And, no, I didn't realize how long you were awake. I mean, I am 522 miles away from Toronto. Not to make you feel bad, but I think you shipped your lack of sleep on me. I went to bed after we talked and woke up at 8:30 this morning. I was awake from 3 to 3:30 am though.

Falling asleep during work is extremely irresponsible. But I can see why you did, you have gone through a lot lately.

I once talked my roommate to sleep. I just kept yapping, and he got tired of it. It was during summer university in my soph-junior high school summer break. Needless to say, we didn't remain roommates during junior-senior summer break. I was on the basement floor, and he was in the second floor.

They say the ideal nap length for dreaming and adequate rest is 1 hour, 26 minutes. Something to do with the REM cycle.
  3. I'm not being sarcastic. Did you realize how long I was awake for yesterday? 2am until about 11:30 pm. Less then 4 hours sleep already running off of 4 hours sleep or less. I fell asleep talking to my sister last night (And felt bad about it in the morning after I realize I was actually in mid sentence)...So yes, I fell asleep reading my journal (I needed something to read). I managed to get 40 minutes. I woke up every 20 minutes (Or when my arms started to hurt because I was resting my head on them). 10 minutes later, someone walked in. I was like, I am pro

I used to fall asleep at my security job, depending on the post I was at. I knew when and where to fall asleep. I hated that job though. Falling asleep at a job that I like kind of makes me feel sad, but I was already sad to begin with and can't possibly feel any more sad, so I actually felt a bit better. Had a dream too
  4. Are you being sarcastic? In the five years I worked at the paper, not once have I fallen asleep. I've wanted to, but always manage to wait until I got home.

Anyway, how much sleep did you get? Couldn't have been much if you fell asleep at work. Did you wake yourself up, or someone else do it?
  5. .....I fell asleep at work for the frst time today. (Well, this job anyway) I feel gooood.
  6. I just finished watching it. I thought it ended well. The OVA was crap though. I am surprised I managed to stay logged on for the entire 42 minutes. I just couldn't get into it. Hmm, well, on to something else.
  7. Interesting. I noticed a change, but not until after the 16th...I was half asleep when I was watching most of them though Oo. Plus I got them off of youtube. I'm attempting to read the manga (In hopes of keeping awake at work)....but I'm trying to piece together the bonus chapter Silly stuff. I can't believe I'm doing this at work. Thank God It's Sunday.
  8. Yes, there is only 24 episodes, and the OVA episode. I just checked the Wikipedia article on it. It aired in 2007, and OVA was made in 2008.

THe show is actually two seasons. Episode 1-12 make the first season, and 13-24 are the second.
  9. Oh, to answer your OVA question, it's original video animation.
  10. I know, it ends almost in mid sentence. It's like....uhh, are we missing something? It could have been the translation, but I'm kind of thinking it's on purpose. Some of the plot does carry onto the next though. And they end up introducing the rest of the characters eventually. I haven't looked into it much, but are you sure there's only one season?
  11. It is a very good show. Even though nothing actually gets accomplished, and each episode ends weird, I am hooked.

I was always surrounded by girls at school. Maybe I didn't notice, because I was always a part of the group.

I am about to start Episode 14.
  12. LOL!! That's just Konata, she's short. She's actually supposed to be 17 in the anime, as are her friends. They do have a birthday somewhere in there, but they don't seem to age. It comes with being young I guess.

I still love this anime. I saw your journal entry about it. lol. It is very girl oriented. Sorry about that. I still find it hilarious. As much as you think a lot of it isn't normal, it is basically what happens when a bunch of girls get together.....absolute craziness

    I'm almost finished watching it.
  13. I didn't read your message until this morning. Anyway, the first episode was a little boring. Why all the food talk? I think if I was any of them, I would be Miyuki, the know-it-all that is a total klutz/airhead. I tend to have all the booksmarts, but no common sense. I don't know which one is you though. Right now it's a tie between the three remaining girls.

I am about to start watching episode 4. I may just make a day of watching the entire series. I finished all my chores, so I've got nothing else to do.

UPDATE: I just finished watching Episode 6. Is there a reason everyone looks like they are 12?
  14. Warning, first episode is really boring. It picks up though.
  15. No problem. I am about to start watching it. I just have to update some things and then I am going to get some popcorn and watch it myself.
