It happens in the original Zelda title for the NES, or so I heard. I'll have to check on it. Yeah, funny girls are awesome, but I don't like the ones that come off as being "ditzy". There's a fine line between the two, and I think it's harder for a female character to pull it off. It can be done though. I'm starting to learn how to do shiny effects! You wanna see? You don't really have a choice in the matter. It's not overly shiny, but I am just playing around with the effects. I also rendered those characters myself, so I'm pretty proud of that. Oh... I wish I could have seen it before you got rid of it, but if you felt like you could do better, I'll trust your judgement.
What? Really? Which game is that? It reminds me of another game, actually, where a requirement was to name the character something, too. But I can't remember what that game was. Isn't it frustrating when something like this happens? xD I swear it's on the tip of my tongue. The humorous ones are also great! xD In one of my games, there's a girl who is a total love freak but with a hilarious personality. Gee, I love her. Shiny things for the win! =D Though, I'm starting to get used to not having glow. I mainly use abstract now because they help with flow a lot. And speaking of which, I made you a wallpaper, but then it looked disastrous, so I disposed of it. xD I need to have better ideas. =P
You're not the only one that thought that. I think there's even a secret dungeon that is only unlocked in the first game if you name Link as Zelda. If she doesn't come across as being too mean or "bitchy", then she'll definately be first for me as well. I liked Fran because she seemed so graceful and intelligent, but she could kick some butt if she needed to! I'm not a fan of the "girly-girls" either. I agree about working outside what is commonly expected. You can surprise people that way, in a good sense. I hope it doesn't torment you too much to have to work with his image. Ooh, like the Zelda games? =D I absolutely love that series! Though, when I played my first one years and years ago, I got confused and thought Link's name was supposed to be Zelda. xD Actually, so did my sisters. So after naming him Zelda, we found out otherwise when someone in the game said, "Zelda, please rescue Princess Zelda." XD I think Fang just has skyrocketed in my list to number one female in Final Fantasy! xD She looks pretty cool, and I prefer the tough ones to the screechy girly ones. =P And yeah, I heard that she stayed back and took care of a bunch of guards by herself. Yeah, she's a goddess. It's a good game if you're into Action/Adventure titles, and it plays a bit like a Zelda game. I like all of it! I'm starting to really like Oerba Yun Fang from what I've seen and heard so far. She might even replace Fran as my favorite female character. The colors work really well together, and makes it look really peaceful. I think the butterflies are a nice touch, because even though she's a tough lady (I heard she is supposed to be tougher than Lightning), she's still a lady, and the butterflies give her a look of "softness", if that makes sense. I wish I had your vision and talent when it comes to designing stuff like this. I would play on GIMP all day if I did. I do use my PSP a lot. If you make me one, I'll upload it to my PSP so I can have a more interesting background. I can't believe that you would attempt a project that has Seph as the main focus, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

White fox thing? Sir, I'll have you know that the "white fox thing" that you speak of is in fact an all-powerful and magnificent goddess of the sun in a wolf form. She is the central deity of the Shinto religion, and is the ancestress of all the rulers of Japan. Also, she is the main character in my favorite game Okami. I have two brothers that have a birthday in Jan. and Feb. It's sort of annoying to celebrate two birthdays that are so close together. September is an awesome month to be born in. I have no evidence to back up that claim, but I still think it is. I also have a thing for Sephiroth, so if you make anything with him in it, I'll instantly love it.

I do. It looks really good. I like the font that you used, and the colors are done well. I think that designing wallpapers would give you a lot more creative freedom than signatures and banners. I hope you continue on with this, and show me some more of your work!
