Bath and Body Works has a sleep aromatherapy line that I really like. I will occasionally use the lavender chamomile body wash, lotion, and pillow spray. You can also get essential oils at specialty stores or online, but you wouldn't want to put them directly on your skin at full concentration. You'd want a carrier oil like almond oil or sunflower oil to mix a few drops of essential oil with. Then you could use it for a massage oil or just to rub on your wrists and temples before sleep. And of course, you could always grow your own lavender. A local nursery might have it. But the Bath and Body Works aromatherapy line is great and a much simpler process than all that.

I usually only bother my close friends with stuff I record, but if someone else stumbles across it without my knowing, I'm not worried about it because no one has to feel obligated to say anything to me about it either way.
