  1. Michael,
Thank you for that user note, as well as the birthday wishes! Also, for the kind words you gave me. I've been very lucky to have met some really awesome people on here who have made me feel so welcomed and you sir, are one of those people. So thanks for everything and for being a good friend.

P.S. Maybe you know the answer to this question, but do you know exactly what needs to be done in order to get a name change? Is it simply just posting in the "Hey, I'm Changing My Name" forum? Or is there something else I need to do as well?
  2. Yeah, I just like getting through the story. I'll do some side quests here and there, but I just want to beat the game in the end. I've never beaten FF7 myself so I'm going to have to add it to my list of things to do at some point.
  3. I have never managed to get any character in any FF game to max level. I can get close, but then the story calls me, and I end up finishing the game. And I don't play that game file anymore to get the secrets or other things I didn't get in the playthrough. I just start up a new one to try and beat my previous time and get extra stuff.
  4. Nice. My brother always liked to level grind. He had everyone in his party at level 100 in all of his playthroughs. I don't have that kind of patience lol.
  5. I have just reached the Western Continent. Everyone is around Level 23, with Cloud at Level 25.
  6. Oh, nice! What are the levels of everyone in your party right now?
  7. I figured it out. Thank you anyway.
  8. Just stay strong my friend, I'm sure you'll see everything through and things will be good in the end. As for FFVII, I haven't played it in ages lol; so I'm not too sure as to where you should go. I wish my brother was back home from the military because he's beaten the game about 4 or 5 times and could easily answer that. Wish I could be of more help though.
  9. Oh, thank you! Everything is fine at the moment. I actually had a good day today. I find that Final Fantasy games and TFF keep me sane. I got a letter from Dad today. It was short, but to the point. I wrote him three weeks ago in a bad mood, and he replied with one as well. Things have changed since then, and I have to write him back saying it. He should be going to a rehab facility in a week or two (nothing is finalized). If he does go, then his record will be expunged and won't have to be reported for job interviews, credit application, etc. That's always good. There is even talk of him leaving the rehab facility early if he shows exemplary work during the program.

Final Fantasy VII is slowly inching its way into my #1 favorite game. I am only 13 hours in, but I am completely absorbed in it. One question, after the whole flashback sequence in Kalm, where do I go next? A villager said that Sephiroth went east, but east of Kalm is the ocean. I am lost, and the map is so confusing since it's transparent.
  10. Hey Michael, how are things going? I've been keeping up with your journal entries since I've become a member here, and I must say I applaud you for handling everything going on in your life at the moment. I hope it all works out for the best.
P.S. - It's nice to see you enjoying FFVII; one of the best games ever.
  11. Same here, it's been raining in New Jersey the past 3 days - _ -. And I'd say I'm off to a good start over here. Just trying to get my feet wet and learn the ropes you know? I've made a few friends already which is always a plus, so I'm doing well I must say. Btw, I've been reading your journal entries since I've been here and I've enjoyed them lol. Well, if you ever are bored and need somebody to talk to, don't hesitate to message me. See you around!
  12. Lion Heart,

Thank you for the VM. I am alright, a little tired, but alright. It has been raining since Sunday here, and I can't sleep when it rains. It has also been colder recently. The weather will be much better but Thursday/Friday, and the always good. But yes, everything is fine.

How are you? Are you getting accustomed to the TFF way of life? I worry about the newer members. I was a new member once (duh!, Michael), and I was a little scared. I had never been to a forum before, so it was a little daunting.

Hope to read from you soon,

    Michael
  13. Hey Michael, how are you doing these days? Hope all is well.
  14. Lion Heart,

My name is Michael Swayne, and let me be one of the first people to welcome you to TFF. I am a member of the Social Group called Flock of Noobies. We are a group focused on new members. I am on a recruiting frenzy, and was wondering if you would like to join. I will be sending you an invite, but you can also click on "Community" at the top of the page, then click on "Social Groups", and look for us there. Hope to see you there!

    Michael
