yeah i know about that trick. its fun but im more of a support these days. hard to trust anyone
At the creep camp near top rune, use a quelling blade to cut down the 3 tree next to that camp, then a furthar 4 trees on the hill. This will allow any ranged unit to attack and stack creeps without taking damage. This is especially useful for morphling since you can abuse his agi gain to get high damage with low hp, without the risk of being hit. It relies a little on luck, if you are playing a decent team they might wonder where the morphling has dissapered too on the map. I used this method with Luna and had 20 minute treads, dom and butterfly. Its probably my best early game farm ever.
Good to know you have half a brain for the HP issues in game on heroes. As far as the Jungle shit, I know I can hit level 5 by then but I've never hit 6 in 6 minutes. I'm usually just hitting 5 when I do ranged jungle. (aka furion)
I get what you mean. I only ever have power treads. The extra hp is more important than anything else. Keeps you alive. I see people with drow putting their treads into agi and i think to myself, what the hell is the good in that when her agi gain + ulti is giving her superb agi already? Its about focusing on strengthening a heroes weakness that makes them powerful. Did you know its possible to dire jungle with any ranged hero and on average attain lvl 6 in 6 mins?
I know what you mean by that. But I have had a couple games where I forced myself to pump stats because I was getting harassed, no one helping me. Needed that extra 2 levels of stats with a bracer. Bracer is like the only one of those type of items should ever be bought. I rarely get Wraith Bands on agi hero unless I know exactly whats going on. Old precaution habit to just get a bracer because HP > all.
I dont think you should ever skill stats on drow before leveling up everything else to max. I just hate when people win playing in a stupid way. lvl 4 frost is like 70 percent slow, theres no chance of escape.
I understand getting level1 Arrow and pumping stats if you are having a hard time last hitting or getting harassed a lot but need at least level1 arrow and silence. I'm sorry lol.
Played a game a while back with some randoms. The drow got stats and damage aura, and nothing else. We asked why not frost arrow or silence, and he said that he wanted to just get more damage. You could imagine the simultaneous facepalms when we read that. The worst part was, in the end he won the game for us. Last night I think i had 2 wins and 2 losses. we managed a rax at mid and bot, our base in tact, but we couldnt face off their team after that and we were not able to finish off their top rax, instead we got team downed 4 times and they eneded up throning. Sad, I felt we shouldn't have lost that game.
I'm "teaching" him how to play. By just telling him the basics, what to avoid, pushing, lane control. Harassing. I'm like dude, you gotta learn how to get off pro moves like a silence at the right time. I'm pretty good at teaching people how to play and then they evolve it themselves. 2 of my friends I taught were close to 1800 in HoN.
Nope. Last night was queued with a noob friend so I don't expect to win when he's with us. First game was really good. Just that noob was the reason we couldn't win team fights. Doesn't know how to get off the pro silence as Drow yet.

That is going back a very long way. My earliest memories of dota include shops with '????' or random characters in place of tooltips and no idea what you were buying. I remember Naix ulti was a 20 second avatar, but thats about it. Dota allstars was where it was at. I also played jedi knight academy around that time too, and I never stopped playing FF. Computer was for jedi knight + warcraft 3 maps + dota and console was for final fantasy and other RPG's. Who had dota before icefrog? Guinsoo?
I played dota before IceFrog took it over. Back when if you picked Scourge you had to pick Scourge only heroes and same with Sentinal. I remember when Io was called God and he had a 1700 knockback stun. Bounty Hunter was the Medivh model from Warcraft 3. Then I was hardcore in 2006-2008 dota All stars. Switched to HoN but meh. I'm pro at League but I only play certain heroes and my main one gets banned in ranked lol. DOTA was always better. It's been my game other than Jedi Knight Academy and FF games. Those are 3 games I always play for life lol.
